In Leah's case the lead investigator retired 6 years after she went missing and a new detective took over the case and had everything reexamined -- the car and its mechanical system was checked, forensics completely reprocessed her Jeep and they went through her personal belongings again with a fine tooth comb. Previously unprocessed fingerprints were found under the hood of her car, the Jeep was found to be professionally tampered with and other DNA was found elsewhere (not specified in the Disappeared segment). Her vehicle had been sitting outside for nearly 7 years in a police compound before the new investigator chose to take a closer look at all the evidence.

Predators definitely look for things such as out of state plates when selecting a victim, it makes sense.

Whether she thought, or we think, that the chances of her bing abducted were low the fact of the matter remains that her being out there by herself in a crappy car with out of state plates made her much more vulnerable to would be predators. For all we know some sick fuck was driving around for uears waiting for that opportunity.
I agree that the chances of abduction were low, but those are always low and girls get abducted all the time. If the world is going by low chances nobody would ever get abducted.

It seems like these killers are experts at spotting girls who are vulnerable because the fact of theaters is that often times when girlsget abducted they were having problems in their personal lives. I know there's a lot of talk of what are the chances all that stiff would be going on and she get abducted too but I would argue all that crap could potentially make her more vulnerable.

I still want to know what evidence you guys have that make you think that she entered the woods.

Please, dig up the posts. I never said how long I was in the army as a scout. I did say I was an NCO but never told you my rank. Even mentioned some of the schools I graduated from. Never told YOU how long I was in and likely won't. I'm sure you will now interpret that as meaning I was in for six months and 635 out of the army. It appears to be your habit to go with whatever story you make up in your mind. And then repeat it over and over until you think it is fact.

It is the same types of thing you have done several times before. You read stuff into sentances that aren't actually written. Like how many houses I have and what a FLIR can do. The FBI interviewed family and friends in Ma. The FBI were unable to come in to investigate NH unless they were invited in. To my knowledge they offered to go to NH but were refused. It is unknown when NHSP took custody of Mauras car.So Im not sure where you are getting your info from with stating the car was taken by NH following the meeting with the FBI concerning the disappearance Brianna Maitland. Fred had gone to Vermont to see if the 2 cases were ralated. The FBI was involved in Brianna Maitlands case but were not involved in Mauras disappearance in NH. My gut feeling is it had more to do with the Right To Know Law that Fred had filed.
