Is Maura still missing?

Maybe its time some of the deflectors are exposed..IMHO their connection to wrongdoing runs deep.

I just can't believe something in like 10 minutes from the time the bus driver saw her until the police came that something shady happened. This case is just so baffling. I can't imagine that there was a weirdo lurking around there at that time of night just does not make sense.

IMO it would make sense that JKM saw Maura in a red truck that night. Scarinza told Maribeth Conway he would get back to her regarding an interview with Monaghan.. To my knowledge he never did. If Scarinza relied on Trooper protocol as a choice for deflecting an interview, more questions would have resulted. This nonplussed tactic seems to have worked, resulting in a lack of sunshine regarding what JKM did, saw, etc, etc.

There was too much of a sense of concentration of effort, including BOLOs, to the west. IMO someone saw Maura, and that is why FrmLe fails the sniff test.

Again, no new/updated information has been recently made available to the public view about MM by way of official statements made by authorities, and so it is presumed active imaginations are fully engaged in their own all night, misguided, compulsive self-amusement and "investigation".

One of the two individuals has already been reported to the police with information specific to the person's actual posting location and identifying name. There are witnesses to this person's offline activity, and declared intent to perform a self-investigation in the local community based on speculation and rumors. This on and offline activity outside of the auspices of the official CCU's investigation has also been appropriately documented.

I've just browsed and note this morning a parallel thread where Jenkins and findmaura are also found to participate, and where the same themes are carried forward. FrmLE and WTH/Bill are also objects of similar scrutiny with attending focus on their personal lives by self-acclaimed sleuthers. "Inept" bodies of law enforcement are declared and implicated in conspiracy theories specific to MM and Patric in the Topix link below.

Recently, one of these posters falsely accused a local police chief of having 4 DUIs.

Of course, it is despicable for two or three individuals to behave in this manner in the name of "finding" MM. Unfortunately, there is no accounting for poor thought processes, a lack of education or intelligence, or even emotional instability. However, any intimidation and/or criminal threatening behaviors are being observed and will be properly reported.

Question - WTH/Bill and FrmLE
If she died in the woods, and evidence of her body was quickly dispersed and altered by the presence of wildlife, isn't it probable that articles of clothing may be found in the future? Are synthetic fibers....such as fleece or nylon type backpack materials less impervious to the elements, and so could last over a period of years? How many years would be realistic?
If, in addition, she carried glass and/or plastic bottles for beverages in her backpack, I trust those would be long-lasting, as well.
Am I correct?

Observation -
The FB Maura lookalike has been discounted to be MM by Mr. Renner on his blog, but he did not offer a specific reason for his conclusion.
An astute former poster has contemplated whether MM may, indeed, be alive, as evidenced by that photo....and if, indeed, it is authentic. If so....perhaps he has moved on to another endeavor/project?
After all, people have the right to privacy and to move away and live elsewhere, if that's the case.

It is illegal for someone who is an unlicensed PI to get paid to conduct an investigation but that's clearly not what your talking about. You clearly say conduct his own investigation.

I was once sympathetic to the plight of the family of LIko Kenney, and presumed he was tormented and maced by a rogue cop before being killed by a passerby, Gregory Floyd.

The circumstances were quite a source of public interest, and became a gripping, national news story. The community was divided, and questions of ethics and professionalism were hotly debated as to which of the three men held the greatest responsibility for the deaths...which actually played out as street violence in sleepy NH.
The Floyd trial was an extension of that on-going saga that also played out in the public view, and was followed and attended by interested parties.

Simultaneously, the MM conversation moved...I suppose, from Websleuths to Franconia Topix on a neighboring thread. Some posters crossed over between threads, as is the case today between the Patric and MM threads and back.

I was especially appalled at the dynamics played out specific to the history of MM's disappearance and the blaming of NH residents. The history of damage to individuals has been detailed more than once, and that opinion is shared by some, and not by others.

Importantly, I have been able to develop a strong sense of an overview and written expression through these forums. With each occurrence of lost, missing, murdered, etc., there are boundaries tested in media reporting.

While Nancy Grace was once an interesting lawyer/reporter, she has, IMO become a sensational media whore. I believe it is by her role model that ordinary citizens claim the right to "investigate" in the manner that happens across these threads....to include Websleuths and similar formats.

My background is in the social sciences, and I am intrigued by the interplay of relationships. With what has taken place here, I'd suggest there has been a need to test and define moral and ethical boundaries. That is my interest....not an agenda.

Again, I came to the Kenney/McKay/Floyd tragedy with one set of ideas about presumed "blame"....and left with a different understanding. I took some time to personally sort out feelings, opinions and conclusions in conjunction with other good people, some of whom are now friends.

In the end, three human beings suffered as a result of a personal feud between two of them, but only one first pulled the trigger to cause the death of a law enforcement officer. That is now crystal clear.

Fortunately, we are not encumbered with having to make decisions about blame....our legal system, and a greater power than all of us makes those determinations. The law, justice, forgiveness, humanity, morality and ethics sometimes don't immediately intersect, but clash.

I am unrelated to any law enforcement officer, for your information, and my interest is purely cerebral; and at one time, heartfelt.
