Oh my god, your correct. They are killing each other by the bushel in those towns, hell, throughout all of NH. The streets are running red with blood.
Ridiculous.
Bill
Did I say anything about murderers or Killings? I don't think so. A Dirtbag can be a drug user-wife beater- child neglect-child molester etc.. Another over exageration from WTH. I live here full time and I believe I have a better pulse on the area than you do. I'll give you camping.

This is a ridiculous premise. So by your thinking, if the broken glass severed someones limb they would still be ahead on the balance sheet compared to a lost daughter, correct?
This is seriously broken thinking. He had no business being on someones property without permission. Period!
And FrmLE, you were shacks hero for almost an hour. Till you clarified. 8-) I suspect your back to being on her crap list again. That's OK. Your in excellent company.
Bill
This has to be your lowest moment in 8 years of posting and this is what set the wheels in motion
yesterday. Even FRMLE was sincere and cordial yesterday and you just hated that people were getting along so you dealt out this bute of a post.

#1) was anyones limb severed?

answer: No
response: why are you bringing that into a comparison if it didn't happen

2) your balance sheet tips on the side of broken glass over a search for a missing girl

answer:yes it tips that way for you

response: deplorable

3) you are on shacks crap list and mine as well

answer:yes

Response: you say the crap list is good company? I hardley think you are good company
here on topix and I just can't imagine you in a real social setting.

Listen up airhead.I have the point just fine thank you. I find it ridiculous to harp on people trying to find a missing girl aka trespassing. Where they going into a garage or barn? That would not be right. Where they walking in the woods? Big deal- get over it and help them search.
Airhead, good one.
We were talking about one homeowner in particular, JWB.
They had no idea there would come a time several people would be moving about near their home, presumably on their property to cause all the ruckus. Big deal you say? Well, If you're an unwanted coyote it may be, and unless this group of people we where specifically talking about DID NOT consist of just 1,2 or 3 scattered and unannounced parties crawling around, the odds of someone getting hurt go up, not down. Is it legal to shoot a Coyote in NH? Yes. There's no closed season statewide.
Coyote night hunting, runs Jan.1 - Mar. 31 I believe. It requires written landowner permission, less the act be illegal.

What happens if someone is mistaken for game JWB? One wrong move mistaken for--and Pow. Would you still say "big deal" they where only walking in the woods? Woods that may belong to someone and require landowner permission in writting? I live in the upper valley area, but I am not about to risk my life walking or combing the woods there, without doing it the right way. Buyer beware. You're right, this subject of tresspass should cease and desist.

one more on this subject and then I am done.

WTH quote: he had no business being on someones property without permission. Period!

There ya go making stuff up. Fred was never determined to be on the property. L4M said her husband found out the next day that searchers were in the area looking for maura. The searchers were PI and yes some family members and others assisting. How can you possibly tag fred for being on that property?

Answer: you can't

Snowy, or rather Granny M...never had any type of conversation with JWB.

I noticed your post, the post that I'm quoting here has been removed.#21339

Good try except for the fact that this homeowner was not at all concerned about the peoples safety on her property. She was only concerned about her dog and glass door.

You have made an excellent point..The area is infamous for meth&meth labs..

All that is just great, but what about the point I made several pages back? jwb, based on your comment that she was running away from her life, why is it so hard to get from there to the point where she leaves the crash site, takes the alcohol with her, and walks into the woods to get away from her troubles?

I guess that's what I don't understand, it seems pretty believable that would at least be the more likely next possibility as opposed to she leaves the crach scene and gets picked up by a random serial killer who happens to be there and then commits the perfect crime?

All the other crap is what happened months and years afterwards, it has no bearing on what happened that night. It's funny that you seem to be way more interested in arguing irrelevant points rather than what happened that night.

I'm not really worried about the tresspassing and the dog. Is it wrong I think it is. It is awful, but given the circumstances so be it. There was a missing girl, and chances are the dog would have jumped through the door to chance an animal as well.

I do have a problem with Fred making a statement about the A frame house and the "bonkers" story. I'm going to guess he kept a sample of the carpet that he sent to LE to test. Did he ever make a statement saying the private lab tested for Maura's DNA and it came back negative? If it came back positive LE would have been all over the house.

Does anyone know if Fred eventually told people the test was negative? You can only imagine the owner or the person who lived in the A frame house must feel. The public must have thought they were involved in an abuction/murder.

JWB - I don't know if you are kidding, if this is an inside joke with you or snowy or not.

I think your a decent man to do the research that you do for Maura, and the leaving of the ribbons was a loving jesture, so I think your kidding, but I'm not sure.

And if any poster in this forum actually read this and had new info to share, or wanted to leave a tip to someone who would follow up, I fear they wouldn't because there personal info would be given out.

If someone did know something wouldn't you want them to tell someone?

To me, walking into the woods with a bunch of alcohol to sit and die sounds ridiculous. Her being picked up by some stranger who notices her car is broken down doesn't sound ridiculous, whether she was running away from her troubles or not.

Why? Because you don't think it has ever been done before?
