Let's say she hit vasi, I could see her family maybe wanting to have her get out of town til the hear died down but within weeks of th hit and run it was pretty apparent that LE had no idea what happened, wasn't investigating and anyone who hit her [Jenkins presumably means him, Vasi] was in the clear.
Cops were in Baystate ICU next day asking about Vasi's injuries.

Jenkins - do you have a copy of the accident experts report on his findings? I have heard a lot of talk about experts but have never scene any expert reports in this case.

The first accident reconstructionist on the scene was also the first PI on the scene, RC Stevens, whose office at the time, IIRC, was in Northampton MA.

A (apx 1996) Saturn bumper will "bounce" back from a slow collision, with no indication of damage.

Speaking of someone full of shit. You are not the only person with an iPhone and I just used safari to google "hx meaning" and got the same exact answers. So again Bob, your full of shit.
Bill
Do you really think that I didn't type that into google before I asked that question??? Are
You serious?? You do realize its easier to type something into google on top of the screen than into google. I typed in definition of hx and the results came back for some weird author.

I mean holy shit, your just the king of all know it alls huh?
Your such a dumbass, obviously of google have me history as a meaning I wouldn't have asked the question. That's the first thing I generally do when I don't know somethig is type it into google.
Sometimes the results come back funny on the iPhone, that's just a fact.

I didn't know the meaning of hx, you forgot how many houses you claim to own, full of shit much dude? LOL., you forgot how many houses you said you own

If Maura did hit Vasi, or someone did with her car, then that would explain a lot - like her being upset at the security desk, etc. Has anyone been able to verify whether Maura was on break at the time Vasi was hit?

It would answer a lot of questions. I'm afraid that is why the vassi hit and run is always talked about. The odds of the event happening are very remote, but it would answer so many questions that people spend so much time on trying to make it work.

Keep in mind it would also create and open a whole new series of questions too.

Something like a human body, according to the autobody guy, caused the "ripples" in the Saturn's hood before the car left Amherst. And something obviously caused the other, deeper, more localized dent (front lower left hood) at another time. There were two separate impacts. The timing clearly is everything.

The Corolla, according to Hadley PD officer Mark Ruddock, was crashed by Maura Murray early Sunday AM. By Monday, police were looking closely at the Corolla. For something. It would seem that Ruddock's "driver inattention" was soon judged to be at least provisionally inadequate.

It was known before Maura disappeared that police were at Baystate ICU asking about Vasi's injuries.

So... the Saturn is seen with a bent-up hood before it leaves Amherst; cops are in Baystate ICU asking questions about Vasi's injuries on Friday; the Corolla is looked at closely by cops on Monday; and the Saturn is found abandoned in NH Monday evening.

Does this indicate that Maura actually hit Vasi? No, it doesn't. But it sure could make anyone connected to both cars a little concerned. Especially if Vasi's prognosis was iffy, which it was.

Then you mix in a little Fred coming to Amherst right after a snowstorm to help maura look for a car rather than looking for one during x mas break.

Even if that's true, I personally don't think it's useful or really means anything.

Whatever caused Maura to disappear from Amherst is not necessarily directly connected to what happened in NH.

It was reported that maura had her car inpected the prior October. If her car was firing on 3 cyl at that time then I would think it would have failed inspection (engine light). It's possible that the car issue happened during the next couple months but it still makes you wonder.

I'm going to relax and enjoy the rest of my holiday while people windmill about the Vasi hit, which didn't happen, and also the car damage which was caused by something very like a tree as reported in the police report. I have constructive things I can be doing. The best part is I'll come back probably on Monday and see that this has gotten to the same point of stagnation because:

There is nothing to indicate by any evidence that Vasi was struck by Maura's car. If anyone had seen what a vehicle looks like that has struck a person, or large animal this would not be a question. That vehicle looks nothing like the car v. pedestrian accidents that I have seen. The car has no hallmarks of that type of accident i.e hair, blood, flesh on it anywhere that was reported. It has no indents on the hood or windshield or roof that is typical. Other than that, it is worth windmilling this for the twentieth time.

And all evidence by reliable sources indicates that damage done to the hood was caused by a tree or similar object. Definitely not a trailer hitch and not a human. But, I do think that the trailer hitch theory hasn't been gone over again in about eight weeks so it is probably due for a another go around. Please try to fit it in during my sabbatical so I don't need to listen to that turd again, when I get back.

So, continue on, I'll see you probably Monday. I'll check in to read and have a laugh but other than that, everyone have a great Thanksgiving holiday. And yes, everyone means everyone.

It's possible Fred came up to bail Maura out ie getting rid of the evidence.

The last publicly known, reliable siting of Maura Murray was in Hadley MA on Sunday, 8 February 2004.

The SBD's identification of Maura Murray at the WB curve, even if well intentioned and honestly rendereed, is unfortunately unreliable unless there was something truly unique about Maura's appearance.

But none of this means Maura was not in NH.
