This affadavit is the sole reason that maribeth conway was able to report (years later) that maura's last phone activity took place at 4:37 p.m.
James Renner made the mistake (by listening to that kook Chris King) of coming across this affadavit recently and thinking it was a new clue in the maura murray missing saga.
The police requested the londonderry phone tower information as they were tracing maura's movements. They already had her cell phone records. They weren't trying to I'D a caller to maura, they were trying to figure out why a tower would ping near londonderry at 4:37 p.m. on the monday maura went missing.
They concluded (evidenced by Maribeth conway and others reporting) that the reason that tower pinged was because maura turned on her phone briefly in that area and checked her phone for messages).
I am not guessing here. I have provided the quote from maribeth conway. the londonderry ping scandal was never a scandal.
It was a basic procedure done early on by police to get information. Once they got the information they needed, they relayed it on to people such as maribeth in the media and she then reported on it.
There is a londonderry vt and a londonderry NH, and i contend that the police made a mistake on their inital request.
But they cleared it up ONCE AGAIN EVIDENCED by what maribeth reported years after the affadavit.
