Judged: 1 1 1 I moved down south when I was 12. I was a quiet young man and was met with the yankee hatred immediately.I had no option but to either stand up for myself and fight back or get bullied (yankee this and yankee that). I was not used to nor understood why the neg context but believe me it does exist there. My folks had to put me in public school because of the violence. Just speaking from observations and experience of a while ago. I was not the only yankee that was treated the same way. I prefer not to call people black, white, yankee or red necks. JMO |

Judged: 3 3 3 Simply Caustic.... Speechless? Please.... If anyone is "rude"...'tis you with your disgusting moral condescension. My comments are to Bill...not you. Bill has the intelligence to contemplate a reasonable scenario and if you wish to be "frightened" that is your viable option. "Moronic?" Talk about use of a defamatory comment, in addition to being an archaic term. We all, unless our brains have atrophied, have an opinion of what may have happened to MM. If your "gentle nature" and fragility(?) is such that my comments offend you....maybe you should visit another site where you feel more comfortable. Just a suggestion. |

Judged: 2 2 2 "But Emmett... arenīt you OFFENDED by not being allowed to freely exercise your religion? Doesnīt that violate your constitutional rights? And arenīt OFFENDED big time about your employer making you say Happy holidays instead of Merry Christmas?" Hannah_b, Freedom to practice one's religion is a constitutional right. However, Christmas trees and nativity scenes appear to be two items that are most often under attack at "holiday" time. Anything containing the word Christian or Christmas, is also under attack? It seems that a particular, specific type of religion may be targeted the most, but its members evidentally have not quite put the picture together yet? When it gets to the point whereby buildings, facilities representing various religious beliefs, etc are not allowed (building permits for them are rejected), maybe people will begin to take notice (churches w/steeples, for example, might not be allowed by some committee, etc). Currently, political correctness seems to have fully taken over, unfortunately. Hopefully, freedom will prevail. |

Judged: 2 2 2 This is a Topix message board, dollface. I will post wherever I see fit, and in response to any post that I personally deem worthy of either my derision and/or commentary. Your post regarding Bill was of such a fantastic level of bullshit....so utterly without basis n fact, with no supporting evidence....just a low blow from someone obviously jealous of the accomplished, professional, and intelligent posters in this thread. Bill doesn't need me rushing to his defense. Yet, I just can't help but dig my claws in, when I see a post so pathetic as the one you directed at him. I've proved who I am. I'm verified on another board in my actual profession, as an ASA in Chicago. I believe (without hesitation) that Bill is precisely who he claims to be. Obviously, successful, intelligent people threaten you. Don't worry: Morons don't scare me. So if you want to continue this, please elucidate further: What, precisely, is your proof behind Bill, a poster on freaking TOPIX, being the mastermind of some criminal conspiracy to abduct multiple women, from several different East Coast states? I can't wait to hear this. Who wants to bet that he/she brings up the Chicago connection? Or, egg harvesting? Something equally brilliant. |

Judged: 2 2 2 You were right. I'm eating crow. I never believed you all, when I first joined here, and you repeatedly told me that there were posters here, who would accuse others of harming Maura/harboring information regarding her attacker/'scumbag locals' etc. I thought it was all melodramatic, at the time. I've seen it happen, now, in real time. I'm incredibly amused, but it's a bit sobering, realizing that people are so deranged. My apologies. |
|
Judged: 2 2 1 Aftermath, explain your post. Specifically, why is it your '...belief that (Bill) has a good idea who this guy is...' That's quite an accusation. I'm sure you have a plethora of facts to back it up. Not just a baseless, defamatory insult, right? Why on earth would Bill defend a serial killer? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Prayers and well-wishes to you, Citi. And Wowzer, I agree - I didn't know what love meant, as trite as that sounds, until I became a 'Mommy.' |

Judged: 2 1 1 they have been tormenting Bill, especially since he began posting on the Patric thread. you can't stop stupid, but Bill is up for the challenge....and, you're right, no one needs to rush to his defense. i am just ever so grateful you were able to collect some evidence of the nonsense and put it in perspective. the next question becomes...why do we stay on the merry-go-round? oh...we must be paid conspirators! where is the goat, for crying out loud? we need a bleating goat in here!!! |
