I'd like to read more about that if you have it handy. i was kind of wondering if or when someone would ask. others following this case for much longer didn't seem to be as intrigued as i was. at least, until you and hannah_b asked. as i said the first time, the individual who posted this as 'fact' is prolific on the site, so i don't even want to write their posting name here, because i don't want to cast any aspersions. it could be and probably is nothing. that said, there are three separate mentions, two on the page linked below and one on the page following. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.p...

Thanks, whatif. I found this entire pargraph interesting as it not only talks about MM having a photo of her boyfriend, but also THREE bags PLUS a backpack. Donīt remember hearing/reading about that anywhere else. Btw, Peabody is supposedly a relative:
"I continue to refer to bags because I know for certain that Maura had three bags in her car when she vanished: one bag packed with cold weather running gear, another packed with school books, lessons and the book "Without Peril", and a third bag with her clothing, personal items, both wall and auto cell phone chargers, jewelry, favorite stuffed animal from her boyfriend, and the photo of him which she kept in her dorm room. In addition, she had a small back pack which is missing with her."

The relative Peabody goes on to specify what items of clothing Maura had packed. Obviously, they would know what was left in the Saturn, but how do they know exactly how much clothing Maura had in her backpack? Not even a weeks worth... Does Peabody really know exactly how many pair of underwear Maura owned and was carrying in her backpack? Strange.

It's an insinuation --- Maura's relationship with her father and sleeping in one bed ... That you just don't make without some sort of FACT. And hiding behind "off the record statements" doesn't cut the mustard when you are posting this on your blog *in which you are promoting a true-crime book* and releasing facts about the case. FWIW, I have stayed at that hotel. That hotel offers both single and double bed rooms. i guess where you lose me is at your close-mindedness. so here's a scolding right back at you. you see, no one here knows what happened to MM. no one here knows, with any certainty, who was involved in her disappearance. we do know her father was active and important in her life; he would seem to have the most knowledge about his daughter and her relationships. appearances suggest he must be privy to what went wrong. with nothing proven or disproven, and with a paucity of factual information, this discussion SHOULD BE ENTIRELY SHUT DOWN. either the speculation continues, sometimes wildly, or someone with a personal interest takes charge and declares that the benefits do not outweigh the abundance of misinformation that is regurgitated and repeated. now, consider that those whom are reflexively supportive of Fred Murray without ever knowing him or his daughter, have cast blame to various local NH residents from time to time. this, too, has been wild speculation. it goes both ways, doesn't it? i cannot stress enough the foolishness of attempting to make sense of non-sense, or fighting...for years!!!....about details of MM's disappearance that are not even sound or correctly established. this whole discussion is not unlike a rubber band that is stretched both ways....until it eventually will break in the middle. and then, it becomes totally useless. i think we arrived there some time ago, to be perfectly honest. at uselessness.

Also, Maura and Billy were having serious problems. Billy new there was something wrong hours before Mauras car was found by the Weathered Barn. I believe Him to have been FRANTIC about the whole situation and it is possible that maura had talked to Him and He knew She had a plan, WITHOUT HIM..!

Tang Zoi, I shall take nothing you write as fact. You are not a credible source for information, and you are unable to prove the validity of your statements. Your fantasies just build another layer to the lore. Unless truth is established, and that is the job of the official investigators, you are adding to the existing confusion and are disseminating misinformation.

Orko, I defended you when that lunatic JWB was hounding you about the whole "ping" thing, but I must say, you should run your posts by your editor before you put them up here. Anyone can be an author?! What a ridiculous statement! When you make incorrect statements and then get called on them, you say people are splitting hairs? Stay with sports reporting. Leave investigative journalism to people that know what they are doing.

Thank you for the link. And I do remember reading the other post you talked about, where Peabody said she was not related to Maura but was a friend of a family member. I can't recall the details or which thread that was in though. Hope you all had a good new year's eve, and that it will be a healthy happy 2013 for all.
