She got dropped of at the hotel and was able to gain access to his room, we don't know if she had a key, Fred let her in or it the clerk gave her a key. But we do know for a fact that she did enter the room because she borrowed his cell phone to call and cry to billy about things. They had a fairly lengthy convo and billy clearly said that he felt that something more than just the accident was bothering her.. Since everyon is anonymous online it is possible that it wasn't a real family member but rather someone claiming to be. There is also reports that Fred could get rather volatile and the cops had even been called to their home for some sort of domestice disturbance involving him, although that was years ago.

By Fred's own words he woke her up in the hotel room bed around 10-10:30am, so according to Fred she did stay in the room with him.
Fred also says that he woke up around 9 or 10 and found her sleeping in the bed, so where are you getting this "she stayed in crying in the lobby until he woke up at 6am and found her in the lobby" thing from? That makes zero sense. Why would he go to the lobby at 6am anyways? If he didn't know she ccame back to the hotel and didn't find out the car was crashed until 10am why would he go looking for her in the lobby?
You gotta remember that a lot of Fred's comments make no sense and many of them have to be lies because they directly contradict each other..
Your post there makes no sense, it makes no logical sense and it also directly contradicts what Fred himself said about the night, which also make no sense either. What you just wrote is at least the third version of events that night, i think fourth actually, and it makes the least sense of any of them.
Also I don't think people question her staying in the same bed with him because that does happen in family's; people go on vacation and have to share beds. People question the whole situation because why was Maura even going there at 3:30am when she had her own dorm room within walking distance of the party she was at. Now that is strange. And if she was planning on going back to his hotel, mmaybe because they were supposed to look at cars(which seems like more BS btw), then why didn't Fred get a two bed room? Like orky said above the hotel has both single and double bed rooms, why choose the single bed room if she was planning on staying the night there?
IDK if there was an innapropriate relationship between her and Fred, but there sure are indications that is is a possibility. A writer like Renner is doing his job in questioning something like that, especially when you consider the pictures that he found in the box of pornos at Fred's house.
Then we also have the yearbook photos that were foind in a porno outside of FM''s house. sorry but high school pics don't end up in pornos on accident, that is WEIRD. Normal people wouldn't want any high school pics anywhere near any pornos.
None of this proves anything but it sure does paint a picture doesn't it? It just doesn't seem likely anyone was squatting in the house after FM moved. It was a nice neighborhood, not the kind of place people are squatting in homes. ALso the neighbbors said nobody had lived there since FM.
Something like that sure would be a damn good motive for a young girl to want to run away and start a new life, wouldn't it?

She didn't call from any phone in the lobby, she used Fred's cell phone to call billy.

Why is it that you claim to know Fred yet you have so much factually incorret info?

I've often wondered what kind of things Fred says to people he knows about the case and it looks like I'm getting my answer from your posts, unless you're lying about knowing the man.
I would find it very interesting if he's telling yet another version of events to people that he knows.

Is he the one who told you that she didn't stay in his room and he found her in the lobby when he woke up at 6? If so that is very interesting bc that right there that he himself thinks it's weird and borderline inapropriate for her to leave her dorm at 3am and ddrive over to stay in her father's single bed hotel room. If that's what he's telling people he knows then that is very interesting.

How many versions of events can this guy tell? Is he actually trying to find his daughter or do a PR campaign for him and her?

Personally I don't think he has anything do do with her dissapearance, but he is obviously feels guilty about something. His demeanor on the ID show is just different than pretty much all of the other parents who have been on that show. I know there are no rules about how someone deals with a missing child but to me it looks obvious that he feels guilty about something, if I were to guess it would be that he thinks it's his behavior that led her to drive north in her crappy car and end up crashing and probably getting abducted.
I believe she was abducted by a passerby at or near the crash site, i'd say about 100 yds up the road where the dog lost the scent. I believe Fred feels guilty bc he thinkks he's the reason she felt the need to run up there in the first place.

It's just so funny how this forum is sooooo worried about protecting their secret identities. It's pretty much the only forum online where I see it being such an issue, comin up time and time again and constantly being talked about, I would swear some of these people must be superheroes that must protect their secret identity at all costs

She called Billy from lobby phone and then Billy called Fred. This is how He knew She was in the lobby.

Fred and Billy could do a lot clearing up if they would both sit down with Renner for an interview. Knowing a family who has a missing loved one, they would welcome any and all chances to try to get closure to the situation. Even a book being written is a good thing. It puts focus on the most important thing, Maura.

making up facts doesn't qualify as helpful, imo. Tang attempts to speak with authority, but verifies nothing to make me believe his statements are accurate, correct and fact-based.

From what I can recall the FBI sent a special group of investigators to follow up on this case. They call themselves Mystery Inc.- I remember hearing about this witness as well. I'm not sure if it was Scooby and Shaggy that found this witness or Scooby's nephew Scrappy.
