Sorry, Amy, I usually agree with you, but not in this case, and look what you did, you gave JWB a real shot in the arm. The way I see it, people wouldn't be threatening JWB if he hadn't done so, over and over, in the first place. And any animosity toward JWB is his own doing. Look at the progression last night, look at how many of his posts are threatening to expose somebody, AGAIN. And then he did reveal information, and his post about the RV for sale I find very threatening to who it was meant to frighten, which is most likely Wowzer. Whether Wowzer is frightened or not is not really the point, the point is that he is here intending to frighten and harass others and bully them into submission, and he does it on a regular basis.
I don't care if there is no new information on Maura, this forum is about Maura and it is for discussion of her case. JWB comes here to discuss himself in all of his various identities, and holds hostage the people here who actually want to talk about this case. He is a big boy and should know how to conduct himself on a message board, but he makes the conscious choice to spam the board and threaten others. I haven't seen anybody else threaten others here until after JWB started his own threats, and that was long ago and it has never stopped. People get pissed off and tired of such things, and I don't blame anybody for retaliating against his bullying.

To oo00oo: My post that Snowy has commented is "unbelievable" was intended to be in good humor. I guess I should have peppered it with more emoticons. I was attempting to make light of my comment that your moniker wasn't one of my favorites, and explained why. I never actually said it was annoying in my original post. It is lovely that you keep the same name, as I have, I just personally have trouble keeping names straight, and find yours more difficult than most. It wasn't a slam against you in any way, and I'm sorry if it has come across that way.

Einstein's quote is great and true, however Albert was no psychologist. The definition of insanity per se is much more inclusive and there have been thousands upon thousands of articles, studies and books written on the subject as all are aware.
It certainly isn't for the Layman to diagnose, however, modern psychology puts much more emphasis on treatment than diagnosis these days. A diagnosis is just a label used to discuss ones symptons and help relieve ones fears by giving it a name. Any real diagnosis of even the least complex disorder would take pages of explanation as almost all disorders present symptons of other disorders and there are always overlapping and concurrent symptoms, hence less emphasis on diagnosis.
Pschoanalysis for the most part is a thing of the past, as is regression therapy. The main approach now is cognitive or behavioral therapy.The emphasis being on changing ones thought patterns and how one responds to those thoughts. Pretty good effective stuff. This form of therapy combined with medication for those that truly need it has been more effective than anything available in the past.
All of that being said. Crazy is a wonderful term for the Layman to use. It is all encompassing and really isn't a diagnosis at all. It really just means that someone is obviously off. Even the "dullest tool in the shed" can use this term with authority, because you really and truly don't need any knowledge whatsoever to realize that someone is crazy. Just your simple human instincts are enough to guide you. Bat Crap Crazy is just a slightly more enhanced version of crazy, and, I say that we have surprising number of bat crap crazy people posting here. ; )
