I wasnt the it to turn out that she ran away and started a new life, said F-it to her old life and is living somewhere happy as a clam not even thinking about her old life. That is the outcome I want, and I would bet a lot of money that's the outcome most, if not all, of the people who are posting here would like to see. That would be the best outcome.
If not that, then I would want suicide or her just getting lost in the woods to be the outcome. I would MUCH rather prefer that she lost her life due to her own choices, to her own free will than to some sick fuck predator who murders women.
Who would possibly WANT that to be the outcome of this case? Do you really have no idea how ridiculous that is to suggest that people actually WANT that to be the outcome?
The absolute LAST thing I want to have happened to her is her being killed by a predator, that's definitely last. Who would actually want that to happen?
Unfortunately we can't always get what we want, we can't pick the outcomes of something that happened. We have to look at the evidence of the case, her background info, and even background info of the area she went missing in order to draw an educated conclusion as to what's the most likely thing to have happened here.
Sadly it looks like the most likely thing that happened is she caught a ride from someone and that person turned out to be the wrong person to take a ride from. Sad but true. If she's not sipping mai--tai's on a beach somewhere I hope she's lost in the woods, but there's just absolutely no evidence to support that theory. There is absolutely nothing indicating that she entered the woods, or ever had any intention of entering any woods upon her arrival to NH, there just isn't. If you know of some, I would love to hear it bc I've been following this case since the beginning and I've seen nothing but assumptions that aren't based on realiity.
In reality this was a generally happy girl, who had some problems but overall they were relatively minor problems compared to many of the things many people face on a day to day basis. She was described as happy, always smiling kind of girl and she had no history of any mental health disorders. Generally people that are happy, that are partying with their friends, that are ordering tickets to Dane Cook shows,, don't go out and kill themselves bc they got arrested for an extremely minor offense, that she was already out of btw, and got in a couple car accidents. Who the hell has ever heard of anyone killing themself over a car accident? Or a misdemeanor charge that she got in NO trouble for, 3 months good behavior and the charges were dropped. To suggest this girl was suicidal is just ridiculous IMO, I see nothing in her life to indicate that she killed herself, unfortunately. I would love to think that she killed herself over some sicko predator picking her up and killing her. Sadly, there's no evidence she killed herself or intended to kill herself.

Are you sure that this is the same person posting? How do you know that for a fact? Do you know maura's cousin that used to post under the moniker citigirl personally? Have you spoken to her recently and asked her if she is still posting?
IDK, but to me there are some things that she's said, some people she's supported recently; bill, snowy and wowzer in particular, that reallyy make me question whether or not this is the same person and currently I lean towards it NOT being the same person. I really don't know, I'm really not sure, but something tells me it's not the same person. I was on those old forums, I interacted with citigirl quite a lot actually, and her posting style and writing style just seems completely different to me. That doesn't prove anything, my posting style has changed as well, that's why I really am not sure.
But unless you have recently spoken to maura's cousin in person or on the phone and she confirmed that it is her posting, I wouldn't call it a fact that the citigirl posting now is the same person who used to post, who was a relative.
So have you spoken to maura's cousin recently?
How do you know that the citigirl posting right now is in fact a relative?
