I was a really nice person too Emmett, that is until I stuck my nose in the old MM forum and saw what was being talked about. I didn't feel so nice after that. I agree that this forum and forums before bring out the worst in people.

and, Columbo...I find your swipes at Wowzer to be unwarranted and crass. Why does everyone here lay into Wowzer, Snowy, and Bill (okay, sometimes Bill is just asking for it, but usually only after an oft-repeated rumor is taken as fact, or a paraphrased quote as verbatim, etc.)?

I don't see the need for the vitriol. Especially given that Columbo is a professional man...why the unprovoked attacks? I don't get it. Surely in your line of work, you would need to develop a skin thicker than the one you have shown here?

Simply are you sure about that? I thought so too until reading some of his posts and watching him play guessing games here. He's changed his name so many times I can't keep up and has said the most unprofessional statements that I've ever seen.

thank you out loud for noticing the vitriol. i found Wowzer over here with a pig pile on top of her in the early days.....she's always held her own. likewise, she found me fending off an undesirable....and holding my own.
the girl is downright amusing, a bright bulb, and can get to the bottom of what's good, right and honest.
lesser beings have no choice but to grade her down. green....jealousy. lol

I agree with you about Columbo/dodo/tang/etc. I am now, by necessity a two Monikered Poster. I intend to save the other one strictly for late night drinking episodes however and promise to never creep around telling you guys how easy you were to manipulate with it though. And when I right my book, I'm going to leave chapter thirteen out of it...Just like architects and thirteenth floors. Just afraid of the bad luck affecting sales.

The judging has made me chuckle more than once. I say thank you to someone and I get mean faces. LOL

I commuted to Southie from NH for some work I was doing down there. They wouldn't let me live there, I liked woman more than beer, said I was a Pansy.. ; )
