Sorry - I know you are talking to Jenkins and I am sure he will answer you also.
You are failing to look at the time the call was placed by FW to get total time at the car.
19:27 call from FW
19:29 enroute
19:46 arrive
Took LE 17 min to get to scene
19 min from FW call to LE arrive
Maura was seen at car just minutes prior to LE arrival so the odds are she was at her car for at least 15 minutes. Also as Tang pointed out FW didn't call 911 immediately so tack on several more minutes. These are FW words also.
I would rather believe the dispatch record over the police report that was filled out a week after the accident. Maybe someone can talk about if dispatch auto records times.
Thanks JWB, that was exactly what I was talking about. Right there is the hard facts and it clearly took smith 19 mins to arrive from FW's first 911 calll. It's rather amusing that this person was even trying to disput that, this is a known fact of the case that I thought everyboy knew.
For some reason I have a feeling that proving it was at least 19 minutes it's stll not gonna change this weirdo's mind, she was drunk and running from the cops and that's that, to hell with any evidence or witnesses that say otherwwise, I know she was drunk and running.
I swear that some of these people are so deep in denial that they convince themselves of this bullshit, to them it's easier to just say she wa ddrunk, running from the cops and acting stupid so therfore it's her fault she went missing. Ever get the priveledge to read one of Bill's epic lectures on personal reponsibility? They're great, they allow these people to let themselves blaim the victim. Too bad, if she had only stayed with the car she never woula gotten picked up by a murderer, it's all her fault.
Ever notice the same people, namely wowzer and snowy saw that they woul NEVER hitch a ride with a stranger after an accident because of how stupid and dangerous it is? The hypoctisy, the blaim the victime attitude around here is enough to make me sick. If she got abucted then really what difference does it make if she had a couple drinks on her way up? It's not her fault there's some sick fuck out there who muders girls who are vulneerable like that, it's the psycho that picked her ups fault.

Thnaks for posting that though, good to show how totally wrong this person is. 10 minutes?? Nice research dick, really accurate to just make up numbers out of thin air, i'm impressed with the qualty of your 'research' Really top notch LOL

I have no issues debating the topic but I have no stomach for the junk you religiously throw. You say you are sitting back watching because you have nothing to give input on unless it is an insult.
We have had lots of good conversations just like today and unfortunately many bad ones
Feel better now? Is that what you prefer?
I know you are heartbroken and chewing at the bit to instigate and you had some of that in your post.
Oh Granny,

If you look at your posting history today, you will recognize a repetitive pattern of escalation. You are becoming more manic with your input, and sadly, we know where this will end up. I said you were posting in a reasonable and sane manner. I did not say you were reasonable and sane. It's nice of people here to pretend that you aren't the lunatic that you are, but, me, I just can't do it. Your history is what it is and until you resolve your issues, it will repeat itself. Sadly, taking a week off with only a couple of posts here and there is no where near enough time for the type of resolution you need.
I made a post concerning the fact that people were, with one exception, trying to have a reasonable discussion. In that post, I did something I've never done before, I gave you credit for being reasonable...Spoke to soon. You took this as an opportunity to engage me. See what I mean about the pattern of escalation? ; )

My sentiments exactly.

JWB, what would typically be the difference in temperature between Whitefield and Woodsville this time of year? I always thought it would be more accurate to use Wunderground Historical data for St. Johnsbury rather than Whitefield to determine the temperature at WBC on February 9, 2004. What's your opinion?

And here's our beloved Bobby getting even more vulgar in language trying to make his point. Bob, you're beyond a doubt an abusive type of personality.
JWB, these great discussions you spoke about; Is it possible they are only great when people try to be nice and avoid conflict by letting you and Bobby and the clown posse control the discussion? You only want to discuss the topic on your terms and if we all agree to that then peace will reign eternal?
Interesting to watch this dynamic yes, but when the situation calls for it, I'm more than happy to step in and point out the hypocrisy. Granny, I believe your slip is showing. I suggest pulling your skirt down. As you know Mr. Jenkins has an interest in asses and the last thing I want to see here is him examining the content of yours.. ; )

From the logs: "19:27 call from FW, 19:29 enroute, 19:46 arrive"

If SBD left at, say, 19:33, that's still 13 minutes before LE arrived. Any stalking sicko worth his salt would have hung back until the school bus pulled away and then gone in for his prey. He quite easily could have convinced Maura to take a ride in under 3 minutes and might possibly have used a stun gun and collected her in under a minute.

No security cameras, no pedestrian traffic, no witnesses to speak of.

she lied to excuse herself from her classes
she left Amherst without telling friends or family her intended travel plan
an open container(s) was/were found in her vehicle at the crash site
she did not remain with the vehicle at the scene of the accident
she did not avail herself of help, either by accepting assistance from the SBD,
nor did she seek help from any of the 5 private residences in the vicinity of the accident

*********
the above evidence suggests the probability that she was running away from authorities; perhaps her judgment was impaired by drinking alcohol and / or by circumstances and emotions involving the very reason she was running away from her life in Amherst to begin with.

Jenkins, I understand to someone with extremely limited experience another person relaying their real experiences might seem to be boasting to them. I also understand that other men with no real life experience might actually feel threatened and lash out in a childish manner. But to reasonable people it actually is nothing more than real life experiences being relayed to others.

Hypothermia is extremely common in the more moderate seasons. Temperatures are warm at the lower elevations, people dress accordingly and then climb the mountains, gain altitude, temperatures drop dramatically at night, then it rains, wind starts blowing, now the people are soaked often in cotton clothing with no warm clothing. IIRC the most common conditions leading to hypothermia are 50 degrees and rain/wind. The reasons are usually people who go out in the winter dress for it. People in the summer usually drastically underestimate temperature drop and changing weather conditions.

I know that some might consider this boasting, that I would know about such things but hopefully others might find the information useful.

No you wouldn't, you almost never do. I think you have posted a link maybe once. The rest of the time, you spout off all your "facts," demand that others post links to back theirs, and say this same lame thing.
Luckily, some of us here DO and HAVE taken lots of time to find and post links, all of which you ignore.
Here is the link to the police report which oo00oo referenced he/she got their information, which states: "Police Notified: 1935" "Police arrived: 1945". It is document 3: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7_atAFvowRhN...
So, oo00oo wasn't talking out of his/her behind after all.
The problem is that there is also the initial dispatch reports with different times which correspond with what JWB posted above, which I'm not going to type again, but is document 2 in the link above.
On another subject, Renner posted weather reports for 2/9/04 on his blog today, to which he added: "I think it's just another bit of circumstantial evidence that shows it would have been quite hard to die from exposure to the elements. Especially for someone with military training, like Maura."
Once again, I am just amazed that somebody who has spent so much time on this case has so little understanding of hypothermia. I would think he would have at least educated himself on the subject a little bit. More people die in summer than in winter from hypothermia, and 36 degrees isn't exactly balmy. People can and do die from hypothermia in much warmer temperatures. Add alcohol into the picture, and possible exertion from running, which would cause tiredness and sweating, and anybody who knows anything at all about hypothermia would know that she could very easily have succumbed. And anybody that knows anything about hypothermia knows that one of the first things to happen is you lose any sense of judgment, and people do many strange things that make no sense, like walking off a road into the forest and snow and cross rivers and take off their clothing from paradoxical undressing ... Really, some time go watch "James Kim Stranded" on YouTube, and see what he did, when he had a wife, a toddler and infant waiting for him to find help. He walked, not just off a road, but down a very steep, difficult canyon with no trail of any kind, that searchers found almost impossible to navigate. Watch the show, read about it, and then come back here and tell me MM couldn't have done the same thing.
I agree. In Amelia Kundharts photos of Maura's family searching for her, Freddie Jr's left pant leg is entirely soaked. Maybe fell through some ice?

I actually had the info for the woodsville temps that night. Another person named spike 1964 had inquired wit a weather serrvice. He actually said he was researching for this case. The temps were above freezing but I don't think 36 deg. I will see if I have the file anywhere.

Indeed I have. Reminds of a story I heard about a weirdo running around in Amherst Mass. stealing male and female undies off of clotheslines. No one has been able to get a good look at the guy. He's quite sneaky. There was an MBTA driver that claimed to see a man in assles leather chaps running in the vicinity of one of the crime areas, but he then changed his story and suggested that the man may actually have been sprinting, so of course, his tale was discounted... Peculiar, no?
