Snowy we come from a very large family. I have never claimed to be privy of any info. I have never claimed to be privilaged to speak on behalf of the family. But as a family member regardless of the fact that Iam distantly related does allow me the right to talk about what I have knowledge about. I cannot and should not be held responsible for what the thoughts and opinions are from other posters.

no one is trying to limit your input, citi, but i have just been trying to define the level of "authority" that comes from the label of "family". again, that is my problem in interpretation, not yours.
for example, i would not expect my cousins to know much about me....some, not at all, and a few of them....very little.
i recall you said you met Maura once? at a large family gathering?
that's what i am trying to put together....in this context.

I don't see what the problem is citigirl. No one is limiting your input. People are just now "weighing" your input. Just like when Renner posted TC's comments and someone said "he should be looked into, you agreed." Thats what happens when people make statements of fact without proof you have to take into account the person making the testimony.

i have very little financial resources but made a decision (justdays before james renner began his blog literally) that i would invest some free time (not to solve the case) but rather to painstakely dig in and try and clarify actual truths about the case from false info, with the hopes of actually getting people interested in the case to have less confusion and more focus on what actually took place.

ive made one visit to both amherst and mauras accident scene and do feel i gained a lot of perspective.

now i am working on interviews for the purpose of gaining facts myself.

i have just one complete. another very promising one that should take place soon and i have and will continue to reach out to people involved in this case. but i have no time limit or deadline and this endeavor is strictly something i can only spend time on in my free time.

Since Renner's post about KM, I did some research, and am sharing this just as publicly available information. According to newspaper reports, KM was living in Hanover, MA, at the time of Maura's disappearance. A Google search found this on the Wicked Local Hanover site, from the Hanover Mariner Police Log, edition dated November 8, 2005:

"SUNDAY, OCT. 30 ... 4:06 p.m. Massasoit Lane, arrest: Kathleen Murray, 28, 32 Massasoit Lane, Hanover. Charges: Domestic assault-drunkenness."

I did a further search on that address, and found this from the same website, edition dated April 25, 2012:

"Wednesday, April 11 ... 8:06 p.m. Hillside Drive, report of domestic assault and battery. Arrest: Timothy A. Carpenter, 55, 32 Massasoit Lane, Hanover. Charge: domestic assault and battery. Arrest: Claire Hurlburt-Carpenter, 45, 32 Massasoit Lane, Hanover. Charges: domestic assault and battery, assault and battery by dangerous weapon, intimidation of a witness."

If the second entry is referring to TC's parents, as I believe it is, then he has a lot of gall saying to Renner: "The family, he admits, is a mess."

As I've said before, I do not have a side here, and am just reporting what I have found.

This is the news story from WMUR: http://www.youtube.com/watch... It says they had been searching for 3 days, so this story is probably from Thursday or Friday. Who is the man standing next to Kathleen? Also, note the color of the vehicle they are standing in front of - maroon or red.

What I find interesting about this story is the camera footage of the snow at the scene of the accident. The snow close to the trees hasn't been touched - it is very deep and hasn't been disturbed. A vehicle never got close to hitting those trees. If you look at the roadway on Google Street View, any other trees not in view on the video are set farther back from the road than the trees in the video, and in fact there are no trees closer to the road than the trees in the video all the way to the yellow winding road sign further east. How did the officer who wrote the report ever conclude that she hit any trees?

This leads me back to again thinking the damage occurred from the Saturn cutting across the corner of the W's property and hitting one of the steel poles there.

But one of the family "spokespeople" on a different forumn had stated that family knew from day one that maura's car hadn't hit any trees because the snow bank prevented her car from coming even close to hitting the trees.
