I choose BHR because even though it is an extra 10 miles or so out of the way for me, it still gets me home relatively quickly, and when I went over BHR last week there seemed to be a LOT of woods and run down homes and farms and empty shacks until it meets rt 116.

There was much more woods before people started building. I know of one definite empty shack, an old barn and a small ranch house that was a camp that is for sale but I can't picture where there are a lot of rundown shacks, homes and farms. BHR isn't very long and there are several nice homes on it including some very nice log cabins.

Thank you for your answer. Was it Maura seen walking near the Eddys. I cant say either way. Thats why I suggested the roads I did. Could things have changed since the last time I was there? Of course. I just want Maura found she is deeply loved and missed by many. Sadly to say her Mom will never know where and what happened to Maura.

I recall years back being invited into a house off of BHR. Although the outside didnt look like much the inside of the house was absolutely beautiful. You have to go by whats on the inside and not the outside.

I have never mentioned a red truck. Maura disappeared in 2004 so Im not sure why you are mentioning tracks through the mud in 2013. What does the area look like? Could you please describe Gale RD and Windy Hill RD? Thank you. If you think you are being followed you should take the license plate down and contact LE.

Didn't see it again until I got to the swiftwater Bridge. Met them coming back towards me. I didn't think to get a plate number, there was writing on the side, like a company truck of some sort. Was a man driving and a heavier dark haired woman in the passenger seat. The blue bow and the poster was still there on the tree within the last 10 days. I mention the red truck only as an oddity, was a bit strange to see it there only because it was recently mentioned again in regards to beagle, was way the hell up Windy hill.

citigirl wrote: <quoted text>Windy Hill RD and Gale RD. Aside from vehicles what does the area look like to you? Houses, terrain? I would appreciate your feed back. Thank you. Gale rd was pretty bare, lots of woods and swampy areas but at the ends was like a little community, a cul de sac of sorts with many houses. Note sure how she would have gotten there though unless she crossed the ice on the river. It is actually very close to the cul de sac just across the river from BHR. Windy hill was just too steep and muddy, would have been frozen and likely not plowed in early Feb., I seriously doubt she headed that way unless she really wanted to get lost. The early part of windy hill, closest to hill rd was about half farm land and half woods. Fairly open and a few houses in that short stretch. The map on my iphone showed Bunga rd going all the way thru to 112 but was marked "private" on the gale rd side so I didnt take it. on the 112 side it is quite a long ways from the crash site. If you have specific questions I will try my best to answer.

In a previous post you said you didn't recall recently seeing the wreath and that you must have missed it. In this post you state it was still on the tree within the last 10 days. So did you see it or did you not see it? Also did you ever ride around Hill,NH? Just curious.
