James Renner wrote: For the record Jenkins, I do not believe her family is hiding her. I do believe Fred knows more about why she was leaving UMass, though. And probability still strongly suggests she was travelling in tandem with someone or met with someone she knew up there. However, I am keeping my mind open to other possibilities. James I don't want to challenge you, but how does probability suggest that she was traveling in tandem? I'm wondering what criteria you used to place her in a set or sub set to create this probability. There is no evidence to suggest that she received any outside help to leave the scene. Doesn't mean that she didn't have any, but nothing to suggest it. I don't understand high probability.

WTH-the-original wrote: <quoted text> Your a horrible, horrible person. Ask shack. Oh wait. It should be of no surprise that anyone would be sick of strangers walking around their property without permission and unannounced. Especially after the online reaming the area got from shack claiming everyone was a suspect and the weirdos that must have drawn out. Personally, I would react with a high degree of disfavor towards such activity on any of my hundreds of properties. Bill I don't need to ask her. She's been very clear about her disgust and dislike for the people here. She even said not all that long ago that she stands behind all the nasty things she has said. I feel only pity for her now as she carries that hatred around with her every day.

John Green "Citigirl," "I did not theorize that she took Bradley HIll Road. I said that there were 2 ways she could have gone and that was one of them. " Why would he thank me for a posting what Maruchan wrote? He also quoted Maruchans posting but directed his response to me. Obviously he is not paying attention as to who said what.John Green "Thank you for the observation that it is hillier" How could he state possible ways she could have gone? Obviously he has never been to that area because he knows nothing about the area. Seems to me he is making mistakes concerning who wrote what and timelines.

If I recall somewhat accurately, there was a news article written about Maura's upcoming Circle of Hope ceremony early in April 2004, also detailing a subsequent search was planned in conjunction with Maura's May 4, 2004 birthday. I believe the article may also have brought attention to a reward. LE then learned of possible sighting by RF around April 29, 2004 from store owner. Line search of an area 5 miles from WB site, presumably near RF sighting. Press Release noting credible tip. Major Crimes Gathering of articles from car. IMO, I don't think the one way intercept would have been RF house as from my understanding he did not have a phone line to the trailer.

If someone had an accident close to my house and then disappeared through no fault of mine I'd be damned if I'd allow a bunch of strangers to search my home or anything I owned How many times have those houses and yards been searched through the years? Any idea? You should know the answer to this. It's no wonder people are getting sick of it. For 9 years they have had strangers walking around in the woods, taking pictures of their homes and putting it on the internet and asking questions. And then we have people like you that enjoys taking innocent people and making them look like they are guilty of something.Anything. So who are you going to throw under the bus next week tang? Wowzer no homes were searched.Home owners did allow there properties to be searched except for CW.CWs trailer was searched after he sold it. He has given 2 different stories as to where he was that night. One in the first 2 weeks in Mauras disappearance and then another story in April of 04. There was an article that LE referred to him as being a credible witness. Oddly after this when he sold his trailer it was searched and then you have BillNH stating he knows the new owner whom bought this home and said that equitment had been in the yard several times since the house was bought. Not saying CW is guilty of anything but if LE found him to be credible why do all this?

some thoughts - i've previously opined that the book in process is premature. there are few critical and / or pivotal details that will likely bring forward any conclusion to this mystery. i admire the grit and persistence of the author, but am less enamored by the investigative methods. further, i would have liked to have seen Mitchell Zuckoff continue his work in NH following the Zantops' murders, if ever that would have been a possibility. the current scramble to collect, verify, organize and condense inconclusive information that has stagnated for years with wide, gaping holes will surely produce a highly speculative work.

CW never claimed to see Maura running. Only claimed to see a young youth running. A young youth had escaped a work release program around the time of Mauras accident.

Wowzer, do i correctly understand Looking4AMoose verified that her property was accessed without permission, such that her dog(s) were disturbed by the intrusion, and one was injured as a result? i'll credit Jenkins for her no longer posting here, since he endlessly argued with her reality by his usual insistence that he is right, while attempting to redefine trespassing and vandalism according to his personal standard....a low bar.

Yes there was a search conducted in July of 04 because of what he had told someone in April of 04. But if we put everything in print we are writing Renners book.

John Green "Incidentally, citigirl also pointed out that Bradley Hill Road to 116 to 112 is hillier than 112 to the same point. I checked this out. Indeed the alternate route rises at 5.6% for 2.3 miles, dips suddenly then rises suddenly as it crosses a creek, then goes down hill about 5.6% back to 112. This is a great observation by citigirl who clearly has one of the best commands of this case factually of anyone out there, but in the end it does not change the analysis." Sorry JG I cannot take credit for this. Because I did not write any posting concerning elevation. It was Maruchan. This case does not need analysis. What it needs is more true facts which is something you obviously dont have.

Maura's phone would've pinged when she went to check her phone messages. I don't see how that can even be argued. police/investigators use pings to track criminals and missing people. They don't use pings to track people that call criminals and people that call missing people. that would be a backwards way of trying to find someone. And there is a Londonderry Vermont. Please look it up if you don't believe me it is perfectly en route to where Maura would've been when she checked her phone for messages. As far as Lt.Landry's affidavit goes, I say it's in error. I doubt he knew precisely what he was requesting at the time, he learned that mauras phone pinged late in the afternoon and from that he did a request to get more info about the ping, end of story.

Exactly. Why do all this? It's near impossible to know what's credible and whats not anymore I do wonder though why they would need to bring equipment into the yard several times. It's not a big yard . Maybe BillNh can tell us more. I'd love to hear more about it.

He could be your best bet to answer your qusetions. I do know during the 2006 search with the dogs that there were specific areas where the dogs made hits.

I truly believe Maura had her cell phone TURNED OFF her entire trip leaving Amherst and ending up in new Hampshire with the exception of the brief few minutes she turned it on to dial in to her messages which was something like 4:37 p.m. in the afternoon. And that brief time she turned her phone on would stick out like a sore thumb to an investigator trying to get any information from Maura's cell phone info. If Maura indeed had her phone turned on the entire trip. Her entire route to include stops and for how long she stopped would be known information to the public. Everyone would know which exits Maura took and which areas she spent time in along her route because her phone would be giving up that information if SHE HAD IT ON. It would be pinging off every tower she came in contact with. Police would release that info to the public in hopes of getting someone to come forward and say "yes we were in that area at the same time she was and we do recall seeing something suspicious" The fact no one knows Maura's exact route and exact stops only proves that she didn't have her cell phone on and her phone wasn't tracing her movements. IMO
