Thanks citigirl. That's what I thought. I had not heard of anyone else in close proximity to the crash not allowing searchers in the beginning. Am I correct in remembering that SBD allowed a search of his property?

Now THOSE are the words from a REAL state trooper, and he clearly believes that Maura was abducted and murder. He also spoke using his REAL NAME on FB, not none of this anonymous BS on topix from someone who CLAIMS to be former a forme Leo.

Ever notice that he's an anonymous person who CLAIMS to be former nhsp and EVERYTHING he says is the exact OPPOSITE of everything ever said by a REAL member of the nhsp who's spoken to the case? That says something right there.

He may or may not be ex nhsp, I'm really not sure, but anybody who believes ANYTHING he has to say regarding this case seriously needs to have their head examined, the guy is completely full of shit & obviously has an agenda which is to convince people that Maura simply got lost in the woods. He is NOT objective in any way shape or form. It's weird. Personally I think that he probably is an ex cop who has that 'I'm a cop so I literally know everything' syndrome that some cops seem to possess. But make no mistake, when it comes to this case he is completely full of shit.

Everyone should read that post Amy just re-posted that was written by a REAL statie who actually used his name. That's what the majority of staties who know anything about this case think, that she was murdered, there are a few good poi's but sadly this case may never be solved.
But it is a criminal investigation, the nhsp does believe that she was murdered & they want to catch the guy. Hence the 6,000 hours of man hours that have been put into this case & thousands of pages that are in the file. Make no mistake, no LE agency is going to EVER put 6,000 hours into a case unless they truly believe that a major crime was committed. There ain't no way in hell that they're going to put 6,000 hours into a case they think is a suicide or an accident in the woods, no way. Anybody who thinks that seriously needs to rethink what's what because it is wrong.
Besides for the fact that the nhsp finally admitted they think her dissapearance was foul play when they placed her on the CCU list. The mission statement for the CCU specifically states they only handle missing persons cases where foul play is supected. It's very unambiguous language that's not really up for interpretation, which for some strange some people around here seem to think that it is.

Everybody has for to remember this is an anonymous forum for the most part & that anybody can claim to be anything they want, just because they say they're somethin does not mean that they're telling the truth. When someone is claiming to be LE with inside info on the case then whatever they say about it must be scrutinized that much more. And when everything they say is completely different than every single real cop who's EVER spoken on the case then you really have to question the authenticity of the statement.

That fb post from that trooper is just more evidence that EVERYTHING FrmLE says should be taken with a GIANT grain of salt, like a monstrous grain, and that's the cold hard truth. Only thing I find funny is that some people STILL ask the guy questions about the case as if he does know inside info on this case. He seems to know a lot about policing, I believe he was probably a cop, but he don't know shit about this case.

Well I guess we will see what we want to see in that retired trooper's comment. You see that he clearly believes she was abducted and murdered. I see that he says he does not believe she succumbed to the elements or committed suicide. He never mentions abduction or murder. He admittedly says he knows nothing about the case but because he wants some alone time with the POI, that says murder? Sorry Jenkins, it says no such thing. Sounds like he has a vigilante streak in him, judge, jury, executioner. We are probably lucky he is retired. It doesn't look like he can be objectionable like a good officer of the law should be. We want our LEO's to gather evidence, not want "alone time" with a POI, not even a suspect...a POI. If that says "REAL trooper" to you, you need to reevaluate what you think the role of LEO's are.

Concerning the nasty email. There was a poster in the past that sometimes there location showed up in the Neverlands. I remember this posters anonymous name.

This trooper did say he isn't privy to the evidence and didn't work on the case. He only helped in the search and was told about this POI because of the fact that the searchers were not allowed on the POI's land. I personally don't see how someone who has never worked on the case or seen the case file could come to an educated conclusion as to whether she was murdered. The part I found most interesting is that a person living in close proximity to the crash site is a POI.

Grafton County Seat, Haverhill and precincts ...consists of people who are related to each other. It has been that for years..no changes.I remember one Poster, years ago calling it Peyton Place. The citizens are used to it and they are comfortable. Off topic...I see the "High Sheriff's wife on Ads of praise for Ayotte.
Through the last ten years of PD rollovers...citizens would say things like..glad he's gone..he was a dink etc. Nothing will change...lawyer married to ...etc.

Most of what I have heard has been shared with me privately, and I don't know how true any of it is, so I'm hesitant to put it out there. I have never seen an official mention of this concrete guy being a POI. There are POIs referred to in the court transcripts but no names mentioned.

I think I can prove the gut that emailed renner the nasty email is a fraud. I had looked into the track coach a while back and he was a coach at another school. I still need to look deeper but I just found
a record of a 2012 run in which he finished first. Anyone know how old he might be? Big Hoss that is.

BSG said he saw the damage to Maura Murray's Saturn before it left Amherst MA and was subsequently found in Haverhill NH. Someone must have shown the Saturn to him.

Thanks Amy. This was the first I had heard of him and I would like to know more. I will check where you suggested.

The comment that really irks me is the Citigirl reference at the dig on Renner cause he is writing a book. I think it is a cheap shot and really belittles books and writers. I have said my peace on this issue many times and will let it go.I will only say that renner is not in it for the money because he will be lucky to get half back for all the time and effort spent.

Are you sure he isn't the Taiwan guy? The small print on his UMASS profile says he worked for Nike in it's polymer research lab in Portland. The Taiwan guy works for Nike....his father perhaps?

Just FYI- From the crash site to Rt 16 the route CW would have taken to bypass the bumpy road, is about 5.2 miles, In order for CW to see someomeone running on rt 112 4-5 miles from the crash site ( who took a sandy side road) would not work. I understand CW prob did not map it out etc.. There are no side roads near 116 that he could be referring to but there are some further back in the 5.5 -6 mile range.Just saying and these are uses by hunters frequently so if she was there the odds are she would have been found.

Not positive Bill but when i searched a while back Big Boss was also a coach at another college. keep lookin I guess. Good call however. I am running out of gas on the searching stuff as i had done it fiercely for a while ( right Amy?)

Just found something weird. Big Hoss ran in the Shamrock Run and I remember coming across that Run while searching for Maura in Canada. Just typing out loud.
