Maruchan - when I watched the Id show, and they were talking about the case being closed. The Officer sitting at the desk stated "there may be a piece of evidence that shows that MM was a victim of foul play, and we would need to build a case" That pretty much tells me that as of the date of the interview there was no evidence of foul play.

BillNH - I don't want to challenge you, but I was always under the assumption that the call was just terminating from the tower because MM cell phone was located within the radius. Since Maura's phone is being used as the tracking point it is being based off of termination and not origination. Meaning if I called you from CA the call would have to terminate using whatever cellphone you were closest to in location.

Am I off base here? Does it say anywhere that a call originated in NH?

He did not say "IF there is a piece of evidence."

He is saying there is something that could lead them to believe there was foul play.

The way I understand it, and I may be wrong, is that if it was an unconnected call, it did not find MM's phone because it was turned off. If it did not find her phone, then since it was outgoing from the Londonderry, nh tower, the caller was in the area of that tower. If it was originating in CA for example, then it would be outgoing from the closest tower in CA, until it finds the phone it is looking for and starts hopping towers across the country to connect. I don't mind the challenge, I could be wrong so feel free.

John Green and Renner are backspacing again. That will teach them to run off at the mouth before checking the source. Seems they do this quite a bit.

Got to give them credit for pulling the blog.It was the right thing to do.

I thought I remember SR as the one that confirmed that the call was to Billy. I am not sure why that is my recollection of it.

I do wonder how closely James keeps an eye on the blog now. He has posted today so it may be he has just seen the developments within the 'sister' posting and has taken immediate action to remove it. I hope this is the case and it wasn't threat of official action by the family that prompted the decision. I really want to respect James and his search but I feel like each one of these incidents (mostly caused by Green) damage his reputation further.
