Something I find interesting is how the same people that think that Maura is simply lost in the woods are sooooo interested in her prior life.
Do they not realize that if she walked into the woods and succumbed to the elements then whatever was going on in her life before she left for NH does not matter in the slightest bit?

What she was doing, who she was hanging out wit, problems she might have had are all things that might be useful in finding a suspect or a motive if she was killed, but they're not going to help find her if she's lost in the woods. The only thing that will help find her in the woods is boots on the ground looking, plain and simple.

I just find it very interesting that these people claim to be so convinced that she just walked into the woods and died want to know so much about her background.
WHy is that? It looks to me like it's simply morbid curiosity, they just want to know for the point of knowing. THey just want to know everything there is to know about this girl, even though it makes no difference in actually finding her.

They're looking for info that woul be pertinent to a homicide investigation when they claim they think she walked into the woods and dies...hmmmm

Same thing as not being an EMT or MD and looking at a traffic accident as we pass. ITs not like we can help but we'd liek to know the particulars. Oh yah and there's more.........

The family is making a big deal about local LE and how the FBI should be brought in. Maybe that raises my curiosity. And before I declare that LE is incapable I'd like to know some facts about the missing, and the one's screaming murder.

Lets also add to this drama the computer that doesn't get turned on, the voicemail of the damsel in distress, in such a destress that shortly after the family signs the car over to the storage company, still doesn't turn on the computer, and then creates a bogus possible crime scene to help a defendant get off if any any foul mplay should have happened.

it helps to know who or what in her life, prior to her disappearance, might have precipitated her leaving MA.
it helps to know if, in fact, she left MA.
it also helps to know which route she traveled.
it helps to know if she traveled alone or was accompanied by someone else.
it helps to know if she intended to meet someone along the way, or at a certain destination.
it helps to know her intended destination.
her relationships and state of mind prior to her disappearance have a bearing on
who / what / when / why / where
the cardinal questions that may hold answers, even 10 or 20 years later.
