I'm very tech-dim, so could someone please tell me how one "registers" on the Renner blog? I see no place to do this/don't know how or where to do it. Thanks for any help! I emailed Renner but got no response.

I was residing in NY at the time, so I hardly think what I was doing that night matters to this topic.

I am surprised that none of the legal minds have weighed in yet on what it actually takes to get put in the slammer for contempt of court. I would suggest that one would have to be beyond disruptive. Certainly there would be a stern warning or two from the bench. To be physically removed from the court and then charged with assault on the officer doing the removing strongly suggests resistance.
It takes a certain amount of arrogance for an educated, knowledgeable person to push a judge to this point. Interrupting a legal proceeding trying to force the court to hear you is a move that can only go badly for you. I'm shocked that James, with his knowledge and back ground ended up in this situation. I believe his arrogance in this situation, coupled with emotion got the better of him. He referenced this situation on his fb page a week before it happened and was egged on by some of his "freinds" with statements like " This guy doesn't know who he is dealing with" And James responding with statements basically saying that he has vast resources. At the end of the day, he's just a writer and needs to follow the same rules as the rest of us. and this I know from experience; Don't go pissing off judges !!!
