Mmmmm...how strange that 'Bill' appears here and quickly vacated Patric's Topix site because the heat was too much for him. We KNOW who you are 'Bill' and we know how familiar you are with Rt. 112 as well. One day the noose will tighten around your neck ranger boy and you will be crying like a baby. Will you, the two tards and sis get justice? Not on your life!

Move on, people. Every day many, many people go missing in the U.S., hundreds if not thousands of people die in unfortunate accidents.

I think of those who sadly lost their lives on 9-11 and how organizations and opportunists got on a bandwagon of vengeance and irrational government spending sprees, principly the one aimed at foreign wars to "get back" at the terrorists.

Old crimes do get solved, and I hope as many as possible do. How many people ruined their lives worrying about what they have no control over?

If Tina and Bethany Sinclair were kidnapped rather than their having been provided some kind of safe passage from an abusive domestic situation, there are two features of their disappearance that seem to have gone unnoticed.
Both Sinclairs, mother and daughter, are listed on the NH Cold Case Unit list as missing. I'm not sure what the criteria are for getting on this list as a missing person - as opposed to a homicide victim - but presumably NHSP must think there is some likelihood of foul play or endangerment?
One of the overlooked features has something in common with Maura's disappearance, the other is the exact opposite.
Sorry, not trying to be a tease, but cannot go further in an online thread.
The feature that is opposite can be figured out just by thinking about it. The feature common to both cases takes a lot of digging and is unlikely to have been noticed even by police.
Frankly, the Cold Case Unit seems a little jammed up with cases to be able to place a missing person higher on the priority list than a known homicide.
Yes. That feature, that "something in common" appears in a few of these other cases as well. While I did not do an exceptional amount of research, I inadvertently stumbled across that one feature that a few of these cases share in common. In my opinion, at least in the Murray case, it most likely will remained jammed. It is fully understandable why you cannot discuss that which you've discovered. You know that special something referred to as intuition? It's my impression that your's has been telling you something, advising you. I know that mine has been persistent in advising me. It sounds as though you know exactly the dilemma to which I'm referring. This is quite the situation, isn't it? Dilemma is an understatement.

No you really don't because I know who you think I am.

And I have told you before that the thread you keep using isn't visible to me except when you reply to it. Not that there is anything to talk about with Patric's case but start a new thread if you want others to see your thread.

Heat? What Heat? The Patric case is in the same spot it was years ago. With rational people knowing that it was an accidental death. There are eight people who think otherwise and they can't even get their fantasy correct about who did what and how he died. Anyone with sense would leave this case alone and let the family windmill themselves into common sense and an actual understanding with this case. That is what I intend to do.

Yeah....Route 112 is a dark, lonely and univiting road....especially when someone else beats the local police officer to the accident scene, right? Yes. Frightening, too.
Yes, very frighting. Imagine an area where police drive around trying to "protect and serve" in places where radios don't always work. Scary huh?

Just spent a scary long holiday up in that area. I know I was petrified.

Glad you once again had a nice relaxing weekend up here Bill. You must have run into a swarm of blackflies. Yikes, they are huge this year and draw blood when they bite. They would terrify the bravest of men. I know I won't even go outside without my weapon of choice (large can of Deepwoods Off).

Well lookey who's back. We haven't seen you since you learned that Chris Flynn was found living in California and wasn't really abducted or worse by some scarey Grafton CTY person as you tried so hard to convince people of. It must have been hard when his two good friends told you to suck it. Oh well, water over the bridge.

Where did you get your info that the trooper was unaccounted for for two hours? I remember past talk saying he might have been on his way home and stopped to see if he could help.If he was on duty and unaccounted for the dispatcher would have sent other officers to look for him to make sure he was alright.

RT. 112 is a dark, lonely, and uninviting road.... gee, I wonder where this story is heading, kind of sounds like the start of a ghost story doesn’t it? I just want to make sure I understand some of this. O'Connell is insisting that someone at the last fill up, got into Maura's trunk and pulled out a rag and stuffed it into her tailpipe. Remember, dad says that the rag was in the trunk. How does that happen? How does someone get into the locked trunk with the keys? It defies common sense. As does much of what O'Connell says though.
The article is nothing but a mix of old information, unreliable sources and just plain bad information. The article for the most part, sucks. This is a rehash of old information and in some cases the author apparently went on what some people remembered from years earlier, rather then researching what they actually said based on written reports. Poor research job done by the author. The author didn't even do some basic research. Especially, ESPECIALLY, if she had some basic current research on the Patric McCarthy case. We now know that two additional Medical examiners, independently, have confirmed that Patric had died from hypothermia. O'Connell has no credibility that I can see but people insist on using him as a source in this case? Astonishing..
Let this case rest again, until some new information comes out. This "report" sure wasn't it.
I wonder if this is the same half-assed organization SOCO online/magazine, that has repeatedly tried to make the Patric McCarthy into a murder also. Real shoddy reporting but even they have finally reported that two other medical examiners besides the original has established Patric's death as accidental due to hypothermia and wrote a scathing report about the "experts" hired by O'Connell. It is a must read.

But how do you keep the mosquitoes and black flies away from the dog? That's what I want to know! Poor Diesel was tormented up there this weekend! Oh and in case anyone is wondering, it was a wonderfully relaxing safe weekend.

Your poor dog. I really don't know what you can use for them. I am planning several days camping in a couple of weeks or so if everything works out. Really looking forward to it, as always. A couple of possible kinks. The tornado that went through Springfield MA, we have been called a couple of times already to help in that area as mutual aid. I suspect that will be finished by the time I will be going but other things are in the offing also.

yeah our CERT team was contacted for some mutual aid as well. I can't get away from work right now but I believe some of the members are doing some search and rescue and safety clean up stuff.

by garlic tablets available at a pet food store or Wal-Marts put the tablet/tablets (depending on dogs weight) in their dog food. The garlic gets into the dogs blood stream and naturally repels fleas, mosquitos, and black flies. I used to use this remedy for years back when i had my kennel.

I've read that garlic can be harmful to bully breeds though--diesel is a pitbull/mastiff mix. That's a LOT of garlic! Won't have to worry about vampires!

I think it could be harmful to any breed. Some people swear by it and others say it is very harmful.
From what I've heard and read using it for an extended period of time can break down the red blood cells and cause anemia and possible kidney failure. It would be wonderful if it repelled fleas and ticks without harming the dogs internal organs but I'm not taking any chances with my fur kids. No garlic for them.

I talked to the his vet today about it--she said to try clove oil diluted with water. I think I'm going back to K9 Advantix instead of Front Line toothat had some mosquito repellant abilities.

Hi, I've been reading the old news time and again, and keep coming across these two things in question.

1) Maura had the party in her own dorm room that night.

2) Maura did NOT (NOT) get a 1:00 am call, the only call was TO,(TO) her sister around 10:00

I hope this case is solved soon. This has been too long. Someone knows. That is the sad part. Roz/Beagle's post about made me think of witness protection - going back to west point - that was the year of all the rapes............. that was my first gut instinct on this case. I just dont know

I was hoping to not contribute to this anymore but this piece of research is very good. Talks about serial killers, in particular the absurd "smiley face killer" about young men drowning deaths near colleges. Anyone that knows about young men in collage and male risk taking shouldn't be surprised at this but some must have their monsters so they invented the "smiley face killer". This research brief is very well researched and written:
http://www.chronline.org/Research%20Brief%20o...

In particular there is this one quote that I would share with everyone. "Perpetuation of the serial murder theory is perplexing to scientists who routinely use critical thought and the systematic method to obtain results. The wonderful thing about science is that it helps to eliminate bias from empirical observations through the use of definitions, criteria, protocols and procedures."

Like I said, it is a very well written piece of research from the "Center for Homicide Research".
www.chronline.org

While I enthusiastically recommend reading the whole paper (only eight text pages and 4 page of research background and references) pages 6,7 and 8 not only apply to the people who believe in the "smiley face killer". It strongly applies to many of the people here who talk about Maura Murray and Patric McCarthy.
