this, for sure.
however, Maruchan, you have not been around long enough to perceive some of the more hidden, intuitive messaging that distinguishes Hayward from all of the others.
i'm pretty good at this.
and none of it matters, anyway.
the entire exercise is missing critical puzzle pieces; if the authorities, the true investigators, held one or more of those pieces the answers would be forthcoming.
I personally believe the person posting from Hayward/Livermore CA and Whitesboro/Utica NY are the same person. See the thread in the Franconia forum entitled: "Notice to all Beings in the Alpha Quadrant...Columbo is a GOD" and "Wayoun 2753905"'s posts on the previous page.

There has been another person posting for a long time from the Santa Cruz area in NorCal too, and other towns in SoCal - I don't think they are the same person (I believe those posts are from Beagle).

it matters not.
sometimes a sense of humor must prevail.
it's all just Topix, forums or FB. nothing too serious is happening here, with the exception of dishonesty, fantasy, mean-spiritedness and ignorance, when that happens....which is most of the time.
JGreen just adds to the mix; surprisingly so, but only because he was given a platform to be himself.
bah.

Habs, what is your take on the JGreen-as-investigator debacle?
Hi Snowy. My opinion only, John Green blew it. He could have come here with kindness and received the answers to all of his questions. He could have made it a team effort of sorts and instead drew a line in the sand and lost credibility. Shame really.

Habs, the person that wrote that post is not Orko Kringer, it is the person whose posts are from Whitesboro/Utica NY and Hayward and other cities in northern California, who posts using other posters names and the last few pages using Wayoun, Stephen and Scarborough. I believe he is also the registered user Liko Kenney whom he is obsessed with, and posts tons of YouTube links - he is better ignored.
Also, please note that there is another registered user called Alson Olden who has changed Alden Olson's name enough to confuse people - it is not Alden.
Thank you for this clarification. I will definitely trust your info over my instincts.

nicely stated, and kindly stated, Habs.
i don't know how the relationship with JRenner evolved, but it is a shame his approach was hostile, both on Topix and on Renner's blog.
like yours, it is my opinion, as well.

Ty Snowy. The immaturity was surprising but, character issues aside, I wish him well and hope he continues his efforts. In the end, we''re all looking for answers. On it goes........

and, as always, there is some concern about where the line is drawn and when the line is crossed when inquiries are made to and about private individuals in the name of MM.

there is no room for arrogance or ego in searching, especially when the purpose is informal.
at least JRenner has committed to a book which justifies his search, even though some object to his search methods.

Snowy I have a question for you as well, if I may. What is your opinion of Fred Murray? My opinion leans more towards the distraught father of a missing girl who is frustrated with LE and the info afforded him. At the same time JRenners' blog seems to have become a full-on assault of Fred. Is it only because Fred snubbed him or does JR know something we don't that keeps leading him down this path? I wonder.

Wow so many twists on this forum since my last visit. Hard to believe it continues to take so many crazy, unproductive turns.

I found Renner's piece on his Law Enforcement contact very interesting. I concur with his contacts assessment of the value of the dog track, it seems I have said that same thing many times.

I read a few pages back but when I got to the point JWB was conversing with himself as Granny, well I couldn't take any more.

JWB/Granny is pathetic

hot button question, Habs. i'll venture an opinion.
i don't know FM, never met him, and like most people here, any opinion is based on what we have learned about him by his words when interviewed, his public appearances, and what is written about him in the media.
that said, i, like others, find his demeanor to be, overall, less pleading for the return of his daughter and more hostile to both the authorities and the public. he seems to have built and maintained a high wall between any evidence that existed at the crash site in NH and everything else that occurred in her life prior to her leaving UMASS Amherst.
judging, at the very least, by the conversations that have transpired in the past on Topix with FM's loyal supporters, and the misinformation they have actively fed to the public, it seems there is hidden knowledge about MM's disappearance, and / or some kind of cover-up.
this is only my opinion formed by observations over time, and as ever, my opinion doesn't matter, not even the slightest.
whether Renner's instincts and investigation goes beyond obvious appearances is a question for him.
does anyone strongly agree? agree? or disagree?

Correct me if I am wrong, but Renner's book that you keep eluding too is not going to be about what happened to Maura like many seem to think.

The book is about "his process" on learning about Maura Murray and not about the end result. The people that keep eluding to the fact that he has all this hidden info that he is just waiting to drop bombshell style in his book, are going to be in for a rather disappointing conclusion IMO.

that is not meant as anything negative to James, he has stated this himself on his blog before.

Or you can go to crimewire and download the link of the radio interview with someone (An investigator) that was actually involved in the (dog) searches for Maura and they confirm that the search dogs were not going to be very valuable for actually tracking Maura.

They did conclude that Maura headed east from her car because the dog did pick up a scent from her car eastwardly. the point the dog lost the scent is precisely the same location the searches thought the dog would lose the scent to begin with. It was not some big revelation to the searchers that the dog abruptly lost the scent.

Fred's and family's account kind of twists this info to support an abduction theory.

This is all old news.

well, you may know more about Renner's approach to collecting and organizing information and writing a book through direct contact with him. i don't hold out any expectations for a miracle, a discovery or resolution to her disappearance.
in many instances, i thought the blog format duplicated Topix discussions; in other instances, i questioned whether any book could be written from such a paucity of information. in all instances, i believe Renner has been honest and transparent about his investigation.

I have formed and dismissed several conclusions about Fred Murray in my short history with the MM case.(About 5 months). Originally I felt he was directly involved and I see many noobs doing the same. Fred has a grating personality and his actions have been puzzling. I have settled more for less on Fred knowing more than he is telling, that what he knows would make people lose their interest in the case and that is why he is evasive. Just my take on him, nothing more. None of my theories about Fred have ever placed him as just a simple grieving father. All he has said and done seems insincere to me he appears to be trying to act the part of grieving father and doing a bad job of it. Again, just my opinion. He has unfortunately been placed in the public eye, and that's what I see.

you make a fair assessment, Bill, and the word "insincere" is spot on.
i agree with what you are saying, with the exception that he may be withholding / being evasive for effect,...a ploy intended to keep the public interested in his daughter's disappearance. the open hostility he has expressed from early would seem to be a greater turn-off to the public than any truth revealed about Maura might be.
instead, a sincere plea to the public would seem to be the best resource for a grief-stricken parent to leverage. again, JMO

just another thought, Orko...while i don't know the details, i felt very strongly that JRenner was directly hostile to you, and it seemed the attack might have been undeserved.
my sense was that he felt some direct competition with you, but i may be wrong, and forgive me for bringing the matter up again if you prefer to let it go.

in contrast, JGreen was allowed to step in, and was overbearing even before he took over the reins on that blog.
