Perhaps because I made an offhand comment about him being as poor a detective as clemons21 or whatever the handle is? Since it obviously needs to be cleared up for Mr. Green, I don't care about any of it. If you're attempting to insinuate the emails came from me, please know that I am not nearly that intelligent. Oh, but you already do know that, right? is "Steffie" his affectionate name for the track coach she dated? wild guess.

Wouldn't Maura, while trying to avoid the police after accident in N.H., have been trying to get her cell phone to work? I get that cell coverage was spotty in that area back then but there was nothing. What about if she got a ride? If she was really running 5 miles away? Still nothing. Makes me seriously consider the second phone idea.

Makes me seriously consider the second phone idea. It was less than spotty in the area of the crash, it would be non-existent if she headed east, probably until she got near the North Woodstock area. I personally don't believe that a second cell phone was involved but can't rule it out. Bill

That's about 11 miles from the Saturn crash site.

Habs wrote: <quoted text> Sorry I missed it originally. Thank you Bill(s). Whoosh. Don't worry about the local "detective". He often confuses questions/answers/and other information on this case. Your particular question has never been asked before. It was presented as a question, and a possible theory that included some well thought out possible implications. Again, questions not presented as fact. Those types of probing questions should receive answers, in particular since it hadn't been a recycled question. The "detective" has a very poor grasp of the case. Don't worry when he gets confused at the difference between a question that has been asked over and over and over like the absurd TRAILER HITCH THEORY i.e. "the car didn't hit the trees" statement. Something he often parrots while offering no proof and runs contrary to all the evidence i.e the official police report. And he tries to compare such action to when someone else has a legitimate question and theory that hasn't actually been asked or looked at before. Again, pay no mind to the local "detective". Most don't. Bill

John After reading your last few comments I can't begin to tell you how reassuring it is to know that if I go away for the weekend you will be here protecting the forum by "rounding up" all the "Tumbling Tumbleweeds". After all that work I hope you'll "feel the breeze" as you ride off into the sunset on your white horse and your lasso in hand. I wouldn't blame you a bit if you wanted to relax over a game of Dominoes. Good work Columbo. Feel the breeze?

I enjoy his contributions, cryptic tho they may be.
