I did never know so full a voice from so empty a heart; but the saying is true, "The empty vessel makes the greatest sound."

He also attended the university’s MBA program at the Whittemore School of Business & Economics. In the mid-1970’s, he co-founded a survey research company that offered New Hampshire’s first in-state political polling operation. During that time, the company worked on several gubernatorial and congressional campaigns. Following that brief association, he spent the next fifteen years directing a full range of marketing activities for a variety of financial services organizations. The latter half of those years was focused on developing expertise in the emerging science of database marketing, and he became a frequent speaker on the topic at national and international conferences. In 1995, he and a long-time business associate struck out on their own and organized The Marketing Mix, a consulting firm focused on helping clients turn data into opportunity. Today, a sophisticated and proprietary software application represents the company’s signature product offering, and is deployed on thousands of desktops in banks and credit unions across North America to support highly targeted marketing initiatives. Mr. Blake lives in a rural section of the Monadnock Region of southwestern New Hampshire." |

You can also just type in "dblakenh" and "maura" in Google and it should be the first hit. "ABOUT THE AUTHOR... Judged: 3 3 2 Production of this first novel was a sixteen-month long undertaking, begun in the dead of winter of 2011 and finally finished as the spring of 2013 struggled to show even modest signs of arriving. I developed a strong interest in the topic of Ms. Murray’s disappearance not long after the first news reports of the incident hit the airwaves and newsprint on Friday the 13th of 2004. It was such a strange story, and felt like one that would stay that way for quite some time. Her abandoned car had been found about a hundred miles from where I was living at the time, in an area that I was familiar with from hiking expeditions over the years around Mt. Moosilauke and camping trips to the Dartmouth Outing Club cabins. I was also well acquainted with the locales Maura left when she made that long Monday drive north. The 45-minute trip from Keene, New Hampshire to the Amherst/Northampton communities was a frequent weekend destination of mine in the 1990’s. Almost from the beginning, I’d had a desire to explore this mystery that unfolded in my own extended backyard. Finally, I decided to take the time. The internet made quick work of assembling the scarcity of known facts on the subject. A variety of blogs devoted to the subject were monitored, where armchair sleuths were glad to chain together the missing links in the case. Some theories offered were intriguing, but of course many were outrageous and completely unfounded -- likely posed simply as an attempt at one-upsmanship over a prior poster. Taking a different tack, I abandoned the notion of solving this case early on. Instead, I focused on creating a reasoned, but fictional accounting of events leading up to February 9th, 2004 -- and what took place next. I have no idea what really happened to Maura. But I suspect more than one person still on this earth does. And there are probably many more that hold tiny pieces to the puzzle. While this case may be cold, it's not frozen. Here’s hoping B.O.L.O can help rekindle interest in it and play even a minor role in warming things up." |

Judged: 4 4 4 Yeah, like I said, I have trouble with the "fiction novel" concept. I have total contempt for pure fiction of real events. That is why I don't trust things written by JWB, Green, Shack, Beagle, Jenkins, DetC, etc. They can't seem to figure where the line between truth and total speculation and in some cases total bullshit is and as such, they are useless in a legitimate fact finding exercise, actually less than useless, they are dangerous in the sense that they can't keep the only known facts straight. Great if you want to continually run down rabbit holes or accuse innocent people of wrongdoing. Less useful for people trying to figure out what actually happened. If I want to read GOOD fiction, I'll read an author that I trust and KNOW that I am being told a story. Bill |

Judged: 4 4 4 The more confusion that is added to the mix, the more you play into the hands of people who do not want the truth to get out. The vast majority in here want to cause confusion. At least with John Green and James Renner, it is clear that they are trying to solve this case. In the last few weeks the only intelligent post on here has come from Beagle when highlighting how Maura Murray's case could have a link to the Iranian community. |

Judged: 3 3 3 Just one more thing Det Columbo, my great aunt once told me about a self-styled internet detective who never contributed anything of value to the unsolved case that he obsessed about. |
Judged: 2 2 2 Sick pathetic little excuse for a human being. |

Judged: 3 3 2 You only want to insult Topix posters. You contribute nothing to the MM discussion, and add to any confusion by posting only insults. You can include your own posts in this statement. Why are you here? Not getting enough attention on the Green and Renner blogs? It's rather amusing that a such die-hard G&R fan feels such a need to continually post here to support them. Are they really so vulnerable that they need you to be their cheerleader? What a sad life you must lead. |

Judged: 5 2 2 And what do you contribute to the discussion? How dare you accuse me of leading a sad life when you spend much more time posting here than I do! Debate with me when you gain the intelligence to do so. My post was in no way intended as a personal attack against you but where someone has a go at me I hit back big time! You are jealous of John Green's superior intellect and thus attack him at every turn! |

I had a vague recollection that was, in fact, her name - but I could be wrong. Regardless, further discussion of this only fans the fire. |
Judged: 1 1 1 This is what I think as well. Didn't he write a post to her about her great aunt and call her stephanie? |

Judged: 1 1 1 Are you kidding me? You are a very confused person. Making shit up doesn't solve anything though it makes for great stories and sometimes even a book. That is what Green and Renner are doing. The actual story of Maura is very boring. They need to spice it up with speculation and wild theories which is what they are doing. Bill |
Judged: 1 1 1 You admit that I post here a lot, and you say "In the last few weeks the only intelligent post on here has come from Beagle ..." That is a direct personal insult at me and everybody besides Beagle. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! !!! :) |
