Does anyone think it is strange that JG posted about this case multiple times a day on various sites, basically self-imploded by befriending folks and turning on them, and has now disappeared? I don't buy his "New job" story for a second. Someone that obsessed just doesn't disappear like that right? His involvement in this case is so unexplainable to me. Is he the troll posting youtube links? Or is he just an insignificant red herring too?

I've been under the assumption that the person spamming this forum w the YouTube links is Alden Olsen aka beagle.
I know for a fact that he has posted many many YouTube links in the past on this forum, nothing compared to what is being done now but he def has posted many a YouTube link. And some of the monikers the spammer is currently using are monikers Alden has used in the past.
Does this mean this current spammer is definitely alden? No, but he seems like the most likely candidate IMO.

i don't go looking for him, but you're right, his sudden absence, preceded by citi's, Columbo's and Contagiously's are all unexplained, if not suspicious.
i'm unsure where JG came from, but i stopped reading his endless, lengthy posts on Renner's blog early on. i'd say, then, insignificant.
not impressed with the lack of integrity and methods of research. though i might be surprised, there doesn't seem to be any significant breakthroughs after 10 years or we'd know about them.

He ain't get no new job, that was total bullshit & it looks pretty obvious everyone knows that too. Total cover story.
I really don't think he's the spammer, that ain't his style. He just wrote Sooooooo much text that I can't see him just posting links to YouTube, his spamming would be writing pages and pages of bullshit on the case interspersed w threats of suing/outing people. JG just post links???? NO WAY he could stick to that, ain't no way in hell.

Honestly it looks to me like John green has a serious case of bi-polar disorder, not a joke at all. A close friend of mine has this disorder & JG's behavior reminds me of it. After renner handed him the keys to the blog he was in a classic manic state IMO. He was writing pages and pages, responding to everything, coming over to the cheap seats and posting. Dude was all over the place, literally and figuratively, in where he was posting and his thought process, even made trips up north.
I get the feeling he crashed hardcore after all that, made up the job & got out. Hopefully on the advise of a therapist before he truly crashed but I bet you anything he's mad depressed right now.

That's my take on what happened to the guy, I could be wrong but I would throw down mad money betting that I'm right. Even though the guy is a complete asshole, I still feel bad seeing people with mental problems that they have problems keeping in check.
