I guess you´re referring to Phylicia Thomas? What would the connection to Maura be?
Thank you. That is the correct question.

It's an awful lot of reading and goes well beyond Phylicia Thomas and her friend. The main suspect had last known contact with each missing person, in a span of 3 years....
There is no connection that I can see, except that many went missing without a trace in that group of friend of a friend of a friend.

Correct. From what I read it has nothing to do with Maura. So is it implied that we want to start a Phylicia Thomas thread, here? A little more explanation would be useful or are we just dropping names now?

So you don't want to go off the beaten trail and explore.
There's not much to say then in terms of what may have become of Maura.
I just saw that this person went missing to date 2 days after Maura and wondered if she matched the BOL.
I know I'm stretching my imagination to the gills, so I'll go back to my knitting.

It is dumb, you're right. How are you doing? I'm fine and the kids are sure growing fast. The grass needs cutting and the rain is coming in.
This is a much better way to discuss maura....

Hey; fishing season's open why don't you take your head out of your bong and troll elsewhere, its obvious you've had your head stuck up your ass for so long you've suffered brain damage.

I watched a documentary about Chandra levy, they searched the park for her using recruits and do to a communications mix-up they only searched 100 feet off the pavement within the park and didn't search off the dirt path's. Her body was found 13 month's later 75 feet off of a dirt path. This park is in Washington DC and is heavily used.

This just goes to show how hard it can be to find the remains of a missing person, but Chandra's case was full of investigative errors and likely somewhat due to the pressure of being such a high publicity case.

If Maura wandered off and died or worse, finding ones remains after this long is less and less likely. Unless she shows up alive somewhere which also seems less and less likely, this case may never be solved.

Sometimes death bed confessions solve cases like these, or someone who knows something finally speaks. Heck look at all the effort put into finding Amelia Earhart and still no solid answers.

Well My wife and myself go up to Dalton N.H. about 2-3 times a month and usually travel rt93 to rt3. Today we came back through rt302 and went to rt112 which is where Maura crashed. The road seems to have been repaved recently but it is a hazardous road with many twists and a couple hairpin curve's. There is a big blue bow on a tree with Maura's picture and info.

I am wondering if the campground on the corner of rt12 and rt302 was there in 1994? The last time I drove rt302 was at least 10-12 years ago and WOW has it built up with industry, also rt25 was a surprise.
Anyway back to Maura, it isn't hard to understand how someone could disappear in this area if they wondered off and some of it is so thick its looks like it would be almost impossible to fight your through the underbrush and no one would be traveling there under normal circumstances. If Maura wondered off into the woods or underbrush it would be nothing short of a miracle if she were found. The area she crashed though is anything but unpopulated, there are a few homes in a rather small area there.

The other problem is the numerous feeder roads off of rt112 in that area. The task of figuring out a starting point would be a problem from the start. We didn't travel the feeder roads at all, we turned around at Bradley hill rd. I would be surprised that she could be picked up by a vehicle and no one would notice, but anything is possible. I am going to reread some of the info about Maura's route as it sure is baffling as to what her destination would have been unless she was taking a shortcut to rt93, Lincoln or Conway for lodging?

I've been reading some of the posts on the findmauramurray website and was surprised to read in the photo's in general area of Saturn link a reference that search dogs got a hit around the stream in the old peters road area, that's the first I ever heard of it. Anyone have any other info on this?

I don't remember ever hearing a word about that. If you know more about that I would be interested in hearing about it. Also what kind of dogs? Cadaver or tracking/trailing dogs? That would make a big difference.

I think she ran off with someone and doesn't want anyone to know where she is. This story is getting old in more ways than one.

You could be right, but other possibilities exist. And yes, this is getting old and judging by the amount of activity I suspect that most have caught on to that fact.

There are so many unsolved crimes in NH.
Maura Murray is only one of them.
Tom Conrad is another.

Please read this missing persons report from the NH F & G.

http://www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Newsroom/News...

This person went missing in Haverhill NH approx 5 miles from where Maura's car was found. There seems to be a so called "Bermuda Triangle" in the haverhill area. Missing persons Dionne Nelson, Maura Murray, Christopher Flynn, murdered: Tom Conrad, Christopher Gray. All of these events took place within a 6 to 7 mile radius.

Think about this one for awhile.

I read that the other day, geez maybe there's a stargate time warp in Haverhill, maybe, just maybe, Haverhill is actually the TWILIGHT ZONE! People who aren't familiar with the area don't realize how remote and vast some of it is and how easy people can be absorbed into the wilderness.

People get hurt hiking or just going for a short day walk and if they have no cell coverage they can succumb to the elements rather quickly and dehydration can also terminate one's life. I've seen a few people get desperately lost in a relatively small area, much smaller than the Haverhill/Woodsville/Benton triangle.

Heck ever lose someone in a dept. store like Walmart and walk the aisles time and time again and not find them, even though they are in the store! Then lose your car in the parking lot, the human sense of direction is not one of our finer senses.

Has Christopher Flynn who went missing from Westminster MA several days ago been found? His van was found in Haverhill, abandoned a week ago and Fish and Game were searching as of Monday I believe.

Same old song and dance. I'm not sure I buy it anymore.
