clatite wrote: Will they ever solve this mystery?! My guess is no. I think she most likely fell to the elements (on purpose or not):OR: she took off that afternoon knowing she was gonna ditch the car in her "favorite place on earth" and never look back. I mean if you think about the fact that she took alot of momentos, the gifted monkey that made her smile, AND PAJAMAS!!!!!, she was moving on. She told the coach she wanted to disappear someday too. Oh well, JMO that she would be hard to find either way. BR's GF sure looks like MM though, wow;)

The condescending "in your mind" and then calling Strudel's thought a "guess". What do you have that is so solid to make your finding valid? I'm not answering your question. It is not because of it being condescanding, but because I think the answer is simple enough. If I have to explain something that I think is simple to someone, I don't explain it and just stop conversing with them. I think you know the answer but your just looking to play word games.

Just me--paris wrote: Also, there were footprints reported in M's backyard. Rumor has it police were back there arguing about jurisdiction. I have thought the easiest way to run away from the scene would be to run on the road then up a driveway and then through someone's yard and then into the woods. To track someone like that would be very difficult.

First this Tom guy asks what color MMs backpack is. Then proceeds to tell his story and that he reported his find to the trooper. Ok it's plausible at least. Then later he says that he specifically mentioned MM when reporting his find to the trooper. Why? Second you have a picture of JWBs cell phone offered as proof when all it actually proves is that he did indeed have a camera and no picture of the backpack. Sorry Tyler but I remain skeptical.

This is the first part of the hoax the sequence of events in the findings as in why so many simple questions are left unanswered by the actions. Now you will get the people who want to believe they will shoot back and say "yes but it could be her backpack" even though your gut screams there is something so greatly wrong with this picture.

The fourth is arrogance. Being arrogant, proud and haughty, one looks down on everyone else and has a very contemtuos attitude.

@ Habs (#42300)& Lighthouse(#42301) Could you clarify your question about Tom? Specifically, is your question a general one or do you believe that parts of his account might be inconsistent?

A while back I saw the old Topix link. Would someone post that again please? I never had the chance to read it all, but good reminders in what I did see. Thanks.

Specifically, is your question a general one or do you believe that parts of his account might be inconsistent? I certainly can't speak for lighthouse but I'll try to clarify my statement. Johns first post was asking what the color of MMs backpack was. That leads one to believe that he doesn't follow or know much about MMs disappearance. As far as I know, and I'm probably wrong, BLACK backpack has been on every missing poster and this is just common knowledge among those that follow. That's fine by itself. Next he tells the story and says he reported it to the trooper. Ok no problem, maybe it happened, maybe not but at this point I have no reason to disbelieve him. Then he says that he stressed the MM aspect of it when he spoke with the trooper. I don't understand why he would do that. It's 1 year after the disappearance. Why would he report finding a backpack to a trooper anyways right? Because, as he states, he thought it may be MMs. I could believe part one and part two together or even part two and part three, but not all three together. It doesn't sit right with me--JMO. Maybe he forgot the color with it being so many years later, but I dont think so. Hope this helped.

I think it was from 2007, and right up to 2010. I'll wait around for it today in case it gets wiped out again.

When the hoax finally plays out then you ask for the critical details as to why such and such a question wasn't addressed. What your doing by entertaining Sam is your now letting the hoax modify their story according to your questions. It shouldn't be this way, they should be able to speak the truth and let the "truth" stand up to the scrutiny. The hoax if it is a good hoax should be able to slip right into the puzzle. Since the story doesn't slip into the puzzle; questions shouldn't be asked; let them change and modify the story around to make it fit and then if any integrity is left in the story then the questions should be asked.

Conflict much? You remind me of another poster who at one time stuck with one name "Elphalba" or something like that. What they would do is always one up anothers post. Never posted anything original just one up another's post. It was almost like they were envious of a person being able to think. Everytime a person attack. I'm going to be like the other posters an ignore you as well. How can you ask me if I "conflict much" when you wrote your post at 10:30 EST. You woke up at 7:30 AM in one of the nicest places in the world Santa Cruz CA and wanted to rude to someone across the internet?
