The tree with the ribbon was never hit by Mauras car. The stand of trees in front of Marrottes house is where her car was. You stated this earlier on in this forum. I will find that post. The accident report is wrong. Even the Westmans have told me that her car was further down the road in front of Marrottes house.

Wowzer.... It doesn't matter anymore whether people know who I am. That is long past. You don't see Whitewash on these forums anymore because I caught her in her lies. She and Ex Chief Williams are in the same boat. They lie together. Williams is gone because of corruption and in the near future it will all come out in the open. Sit on your deck overlooking your wishing well w/ your rose colored sunglasses on and enjoy the view.

No Joke AKA Jeesh Jack wrote: Wowzer.... You have previously stated that the tree marked w/ the ribbon at the supposed accident site it not actually the place where the car was positioned. You stated it was further down rte. 112 east towards the corner of Bradley Hill rd. This makes sense that if the car was further down 112 in front of John Marrotte's house by his Balsam trees that it would be able to be seen by Marrotte as well as yourself. It also gives credence to the fact that one (1) of Marrotte's balsam trees on his front lawn was damaged. It is the tree that has been trimmed of its lower branches. I noticed this yrs. ago but never really put any connection to it because of where We were told the car was. Could You see the car, any or all of it from your house on the corner? Did You witness anything that night? Did You go out to try and help? Did You do anything. Just wondering..? the police reports say it was down the road also. what's your point? if this is a personal vendetta, take it somewhere else. you've failed to state your point involving the disappearance of Maura.

I have stated My point. The accident report is wrong. The car was in front of the trees on Marrottes front lawn. The accident report clearly shows it differently. Unless of course You have a different report. The accident report was never filled out til 6 days later either. No it is not a personal vendetta...IT IS A SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH.

WHY did the police show the Murray family and friends that tree where the ribbon now is if it is not the area the car was found. It is off by about 150' to 200' at least.

it was known from the begining that the ribbon was at the wrong spot. How do you know they showed THAT tree to the Murrays? Hey the Murray's also reported that Fred was up there every weekend yet 7 years of my being there almost every weekend and I have NEVER seen him there.

Didn't I just say in a couple of posts above that I wasn't denying what I said earlier. The report is NOT wrong. It clearly shows the stand of trees that Mauras car hit. The picture shows the trees to be further down the road(on Marrottes front lawn)and not on the curve where the ribbon is. The officer wrote in the report that the car struck some trees.(Plural) What do you find wrong in the report?

Could it be that the tree was in clear view of anyone driving around that curve and a perfect place to put her picture and the ribbon because of it's large size?

Believe what You will. The Murrays met w/ LE at the 112 corner and this is the tree that they said Maura's car had hit. I am sure they just didn't say this because it was the biggest tree. If the car was down the rd. another 200' it would have been even more difficult for the Westmans to see who or how many people were at the car. Also I have big shoulders so spew all You want about Me, I can take it. Apparently You are not around as much as You say if You have not seen Fred Murray up here. He has put many hours into searching on foot as well as talking to people all around the area. It has been 7 1/2 yrs. He has been comoing up here, so if You have not seen Him You must have Your eyes closed. I have been w/ Fred on many occasions helping him search and interview people. So like I said, believe what You will.

Well this would explain why locals are now slamming their doors shut and ordering strangers off their property. And this most likely is why the LE didn't want all the information and names given out.IMO it surely jeopardized the investigation the police were trying to do by having so many people asking questions over and over again. Joke I travel this road often and I have never seen anyone searching the woods. Not to say they haven't just that I've never seen them.

I have to change something here that I wrote earlier today when I said I never saw anyone searching the woods. That's not entirely true. I did see some of the the searches that were done with the dogs. They searched up to and beyond 116 and other locations. During those first initial searches there were people and helicopters searching for Maura. For the past several years I haven't seen anyone searching the area. The tree and blue ribbon has remained unchanged for a long time and her picture hasn't been replaced.

I have seen searches on occasion--never with Fred Murray involved though. Nor have I ever seen him at the site of the accident or the bow. What I don't understand is, why they don't involve the residents of Mountain Lakes in the searches. We could probably acquaint you with areas that you have not searched. They don't even let us know when the searches are going to be. "I have private property--please do not search my property without telling me that you intend to--I am NOT responsible for what my dog may do to you should I find you searching on my land without telling me." That is how many of us feel about the searches. What is even more insulting is, the searches have been known to have their "command central" located in the ski lodge in Mountain Lakes--yet, they still don't tell the area residents that they will be searching on our property. Go figure.....because you're searching you have the right to trapse through my yard? I don't think so. Funny thing is---I do professional search and rescue for work and volunteer. My dog is trained, I am trained.....yet because I own property in the area, I'm a local deadbeat according to Fred. I have never been interviewed by anyone other than LE.

Legally they can't search your property unless they have your permission or a search warrent. If your neighbors or you have dogs that may bite a trespasser it might be a good idea to put "no trespassing" signs up to cover yourselves if someone should get hurt on your land. I've mentioned several times in the past that I know the woods and back roads around here. There are many nooks and crannies that you have to know about in order to find as you probably know Looking. No one ever asked for help and at this point I'd rather crawl thru a tub full of worms than offer any knowledge I have of the area with people that have shown such disrespect and hatred toward myself and the people who live here. They are the ones that lost out Looking by not utilizing you, your trained dog and your knowledge of the area.
