I don't know if it is Maura, but if it is I'd like the opportunity to thank her, she saved me. And if its not her... I'll keep looking.

How do we know that this Lori lady on Facebook was not visiting her friend Maura (possibly in Canada) while on vacation, and took a picture of them together while they went out to celebrate? Perhaps they are friends from the past - high school, track meets...? I know I post pictures of myself with friends on Facebook when I am on travel.

I've studied the pictures over and over and as much as I would like it to be Maura I just don't believe it is. While there is a slight resemblance I don't think it looks that much like her. The nose and eyes are too different for it to be her. This is JMHO. I do feel sorry for those women. They now have their personal information and pictures on the internet to be brought up every time someone Googles MM blogs.

I agree, all in the name of Maura Murray, a person who if alive, by rote of her disappearance, doesn't wish to be found! People are over there talking about getting goosebumps and patting each other on the back like they've collectively won the lottery. It's an amazing study in psychology. The justification for the continual tossing out of private individuals to the hordes of people/wolves is so simply and obviously flawed it strains the mind. The mindset of the masses is bizarre! The assumption that the entire world is constantly connected to social media and obliged to be aware of James Renner's obscure blog or topix or any other site that discusses this case is very telling.....Lemmings and sheep...This is no insult to anyone that is interested in this case, it's a statement about obsession....Because it has sucked so many people in so deeply and become a large part of their lives, they have become numb to the fact that it is in actuality a tiny, tiny grain of sand on the beach of the world as a whole. 99.9 percent of the worlds population has never heard of Maura Murray and frankly, they don't care. To drag any of that percentage into this case, unknowing and unwilling, without first having solid evidence of there involvement in any way is not only unethical, but unconscionable!

I'll bet that one of the posters on here has called the salon where that woman works. You all just can't help yourselves. Perhaps someone should at least fax or mail a copy of the missing poster to the salon. That would be a more discrete way of showing concern. What if Maura is a customer? This case has gone to the CCU. It needs to be a closed case if Maura is really alive. Others deserve a chance to be found too.

So a friend of hers, visitng her, doesn't know she's been missing for 9 years decides to post a pic of her friend on facebook? Do you think the friend asks "haven't spoken to you in a while" or just assumes a natural progression of losing touch. Or a friend who knows there friend is in hiding, but posts a pic of them on the internet. Wow some friend.

So Maura has disappeared into thin air for years and people think she is back near her hometown? Getting a haircut? Having her picture shared on Facebook? Really? Even if the picture was taken elsewhere, profile pictures are public no matter what. Stupid move if your "hiding". JMO

All the strange coincidences could piece together. LE is either laughing or thankful, who knows.

"She lied when she said she told them she had never heard of Maura Murray, before (many of her friends are members of the Maura Murray Missing Facebook page) and she has many contacts in Hanson, etc." So you count one as "many"? I went through all her friends - only one was a member of the MM FB page. One. Not "many." The "one" is from East Bridgewater, which is right next to Hanson and Whitman. She lives in Whitman, and went to UMASS Amherst. Lots of reasons for her to be interested in the MM case. So tell me, if ONE of your Facebook friends "likes" a FB group or page, does that mean that you yourself know of or are interested in or belong to that group/page as well? ... Notice how Renner completely ignored this. He continues to let his statement stand as fact and people are using it as more "evidence" against LWG. NO. INTEGRITY. WHATSOEVER.

Why won't Lwg talk to Renner? She knows people are looking at her Facebook pics because she changed her settings from yesterday to today. Her photos of family and friends are no longer public. Why won't she just say "it isn't Maura. It's so-and-so in the pic." End of story. Why won't anyone answer questions in this case?

"I think I know the name of the person who appears next to Lori in the photo."
Did this person contact you?
"[T]his person and her husband have zero photos... on ... their facebook profiles [and] work sites .... "The only picture they do have is of their daughter, who I have to say is the spitting image of Maura's baby photo from the family's website."
The top picture of Maura, i.e., the one where she is an infant?http://goo.gl/6Zq16L.

Did Renner tell her the name of his blog when he left her a message? If not, how would she know of the blog? A stranger, not law enforcement, leaves her a message that he has her social security number and is looking for information. What would a reasonable person do? Contact actual law enforcement to report him possibly? And now this person has God knows how many people calling her home number and her place of employment and possibly her family and co-workers? What would you do? She must be scared out of her mind being stalked like this. What a sad situation.

And now, of course, they all must be guilty, because taking down their Facebook pages makes them guilty, right? Not victims of stalking, co-conspirators in the disappearance of Maura Murray.

Voila!
From Mrs. Forman on Renner's blog:
"The fact that they all keep hiding and vanishing quietly one after the other just makes them stand out as guilty- of something!!!"
