Thanks to everyone who bought the book (B.O.L.O.)...thanks twice to those that liked it...thanks three times to those with constructive criticism -- makes me work harder to figure out the period from 7:00 to 7:30 on that mysterious night.

It's a matter of principle to me again that the families of the missing should give their blessings. Or the police. Would police object to a billboard if they knew a person was in hiding? I have to wonder if what James is trying to do with the billboards is what Fred was afraid of when he stated in the papers he was afraid of the direction James was going with his book and refused to take part?

Why her family never pushed for a billboard project such as this , is behond comprehension. It shows as just one less effort potentially carried out to find her.

Brilliant idea??? Just out of curiosity has this method found anyone? If not, is it just drama, just theater? I mean people can spend their money any way they want. But if you are going to try to find someone. And you're of course not doing what renner is, for dramatics and for profit. I mean ultimately one would want to apply whatever resources and money there is to proven techniques. Wouldn't it be useful to research what ways actually find people? Instead of just flushing money down a shithole.

Interestingly, "adagio" posted from Taunton, MA twice on page 12 of the first thread I cited.

I'm interested in Geocities letter because I believe that it is the basis of the current theory that Maura might be alive and in Canada. If the letter can be shown to be a hoax, then the theory goes with it. If it proves to be credible, then it makes the theory something I can believe.

Adagio, like the Geocities author,states as fact that Maura hit Vasi.

Again, this is just an idea that I had. I'm open to criticism. But I'd like to see this resolved. Others (perhaps citigirl) probably also would like some resolution.

No. You are right. It has not found anyone. But in case she is alive it could maybe generate some information.....?? Who knows?

Do you know for a fact that the geocities letter is the only support for this theory? It may certainly have been the basis for the theory, but real or hoax, if James has other support for the theory the legitimacy of the theory would remain intact, regardless of what planted the seed.
