with apologies for multi postings; believe it or not, there are still spots of poor connectivity in proximity to cities. my additional thoughts this morning are lighter... i don't believe cows can fly...or jump over the moon that the mice in my attic are making a ball gown for Cinderella that Sam eats "Green" eggs and ham, and doesn't like it or that Angry Birds can knock down heavy structures that Renner, Green and Sam have only the limited capacity to examine and tease apart statements made in social media, and act upon them without proof positive of their veracity, turns an informal conversation into something potentially dangerous. this, of course, only my humble opinion.

Guess we have a celebrity in our Midst. SammyJoe you been holding out on all your friends here. Good to see Granny get some recognition too though with that backpack find. Too bad they didn't expand on the "forgot my camera" thing. Would have been a hoot to see it in print. SammyJoe, your excitement over the poster in your neighborhood seems a bit rash when your name and location is published in Boston Magazine....just sayin' Must have been a publicity stunt. http://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/article/20...

Remember the publicity stunt with the turkeys on WKRP in Cincinnati? Now THAT was a real hoot. Or would it be a gobble?

I convinced "Sam" to take a much needed vacation. I do believe that he is gone for good.

Well, Sam's website is gone, now, which I'm sure makes some of you happy. That's going to confuse some people who read the article, I think. Sam was doing some fine work. I don't really understand why he has to go now that his name is out there. I think hanging onto anonymity is just silly fear. I truly don't get why it's so important to some people.

When you lose your anonymity, you become accountable for your actions. I don't think Sam was up to the task.

We are all human beings here, flaws and all. Of which I am sure I have plenty of. "Can't we all just get along?"

Mr. Renner, I should have added that I do not put you in the class as crazy. Sorry about that.

I know you don't care about Topix posters being afraid of losing their anonymity, but you seem to respect Sam, so perhaps you might understand why it was important for him. Sam Ledyard wrote: <quoted text> This troubles me. Is this someone using a proxy or are you really posting from the area? I've never seen anyone post from the same location as me before. Sam Ledyard wrote: <quoted text> I'm being very serious right now. I'm about two seconds away from washing my hands of all of this. There was the other post earlier from East Bridgewater. At this point, I don't care about the whole Suzanne thing. I just want to know whether someone is posting from near my home or whether it's a proxy. Sam Ledyard wrote: <quoted text> You got what you wanted. I just emailed the others and told them I'm taking some time off. At this point, I think it could be permanent. I hope this mystery is solved. It hasn't escaped my notice that Sam also finally started using a proxy to hide his location - his posts no longer come from Abington. It appears to me that Sam felt his safety was in danger by having a Topix poster possibly posting near his home. Now that his identity is revealed, he takes down his blog. It seems pretty clear to me why people are afraid of losing their anonymity. BTW, I have known Sam's real name since August - he can thank his buddy Green for outing him. I have never even hinted at who he really was, so I hope he takes that into consideration in the future if he feels like revealing the identities of others. I have also known John Green's real name and lots of interesting, disturbing facts about him since the end of July, and have never given a hint of it as well. He clings to his false identity with good reason, and I can guarantee you he would be very unhappy if his real identity were to be revealed. I will say this, though - he has never, ever practiced law in any of the states he has resided in, nor in any of the immediately surrounding states, nor in the states where he went to college or law school. He went to law school - that is the extent of his legal experience. You allied yourself with a person using a false name and false identity, who used the trust engendered by his phony legal background to get people to open up to him. Unless you actually knew his real identity, he lied to you and engendered your trust as well. If you did know his real identity and lack of legal background, and chose not to share it with your followers, then you have less scruples than I thought you did. But I can guarantee you, it is very "important" to him to protect his anonymity, he has gone to great lengths to do so. For those who will claim I am stalking Green, as I have said before, he held himself out as a practicing attorney with "years and years of legal experience." Attorneys are held to a higher standard than us mere mortals, and engender trust, and he repeatedly drew on this false experience to engender trust. Attorney's credentials are made public so the public can be protected against false claims like Green made - so it is reasonable that I (and others) would seek them out. Everything I found out about Green is publicly available information.

Maruchan, your further confirmation of what has been suspected is not a surprise.

John Green that pompous ass. I have to admit, I took an extreme dislike to him right from the get go. I also have to admit that I researched the hell out him and could only find his Asheville history...? Sammyjoe Ledyard. Creating a facebook page under Samuel Ledyard and using it as his moniker and harrassing people about their anonymity. It's just so damned hilarious. I'm going to skip law school and just go take the bar exam, apparently any fool can pass it. Anonymous posting---I've seen some crazy stuff in my life. I'm not scared of much, not bragging or trying to act tough, just stating a fact. I've dealt with some pretty gnarly situations and I'm still here kicking. I do subscribe to the what doesn't kill you makes you stronger philosophy. I've lived it. How the hell I kept myself from going up to Lincoln and punching granny in the face when she kept begging me to still boggles my mind..One reason..my children. Because their dad is kind of an idiot and runs his mouth on an internet forum and then gets mad enough at some other idiot that he is literally ready to jump in his truck and deliver a well deserved thrashing, well....that's not their fault. They are innocent children and fortunately, they aren't idiots. If some moron like Sammyjoe decides to call my house about a discussion that I'm involved in online. That's crossing a line. If one of the other loonies that follow this case decides to harass me or bring this into the real world, it's crossing a line. There are those that might say by being involved in these discussions, I'm risking exposing my kids to this type of behavior and the possible consequences. I say not so. I post anonymously, because the first time I ever posted here, I didn't have a clue and some of the more experienced posters at this site told me, in no uncertain terms, that I was an idiot. Turns out, they were correct. I post anonymously, personally, because it's not just about me, it's about my children's right to privacy.
