I have thought of the crash many times findy. I do not claim to be a doctor, but I suspect that it was the product of PTSD.

Well, there's this place called Bretton Woods. You may have heard of it. They're in NH. They sell ski passes. They sold one to me. Believe it or not, they actually sell these passes. To the pubic. Which, by the way, is XC, not DH. It's amazing how a PR machine like yours tries to hammer away at this. You're like old machinery in a new factory. Ga-Bang, Ga-Bang, Ga-Bang... Anyone who thinks that finding out what happened to MM is the main event is sadly mistaken. But if it works for you, that's fine. Your'e easily contented. MM is just an out-dated vehicle. It's not about her or her disappearance. It doesn't matter whether she's dead or alive. Sound heartless? Not even close. But very, very sad." |

Judged: 1 1 1 Seems Mr. CyberLaw (AKA: FrmLE) knows more than He should. Someone is lying....Who would it be..? John CyberLaw02-23-2006, 07:52 PM Peabody: "Well for starters you are assuming alot, which of course does not surprise me. When I first learned of a women going "missing" in NH it was on Crimenews2000.com . They follow different stories. So when I went to that site on the morning of 2/10/04 all I had to do was click on the link which lead me to to the story. I remember the story because of the dog and the picture of the dog with snow falling. I don't know if this story was in print and/or only online. I only read it online. So you see Peabody......I do answer your questions. Sometimes. At first it appeared "suspicious" until all of the details came out then of course it was "not suspicious" anymore. Actually there is a 1-800 number for this newspaper and I am considering calling NH." ---------- |

So......I am going to phone the Caledonian Record to find out and speak to the Web Master. Trust me when I say: I am 100% correct that I saw this story. There was no press release....just a reporter showing up at a scene of an accident that the "driver" had fled from. No one knew who the driver was......so again if you searched the "history" of the Caledonian Record it would not show up under a search for Maura Murray. This story was online. I do hope that clarifies my position in this matter........" |

Judged: 2 2 2 Good post Columbo & very interesting, I'm shocked Alden finally admitted that he was there at Bretton Woods on Feb. 10, 2004. That is freakin weird & idk how any of these people can claim to be so confident that Alden is not responsible for her dissapearance. There's people on here they act like they know for a fact he's innocent, well how the hell can they possibly know that? Do they personally know Alden? If not then how did he prove his innocence to them so definitely? Now he has finally admitted that he was in the area when she went missing. Did he actually go XC skiing that day or just buy the pass for an alibi &/or sick souvenir? Cuz that ski pass does NOT look like it was ever used. How is the ski pass in such pristine condition & why? Who else looking at this forum has a ski pass in mint condition from 2004?! Idk about you guys but generally after just wearing a ski pass the one day it'll look a little worn, folded over corners, maybe a crease line. That pass does not look like it was worn for a day of XC skiing. Does Alden even XC ski?? I don't wanna be judgmental but does he look like the kind of guy that goes XC skiing? If I was questioning him I'd wanna kno this, does he go often? Does he own XC skis? Columbo iirc you've written in the past that Alden also owned a red truck, how do you know this? Has he ever admitted it or have you found any proof of this? |

Judged: 1 1 1 What the hell is he talking about MM is not the 'main event', that is some strange shit right there. How is it possible more people don't think this guy might be connected to this case? I'm not saying I think he definitely is but come on, he clearly is trying to make people think he is responsible which is seriously whack no matter how you slice it. If MM isn't the 'main event' then what is? Does he mean the hit & run or something else?? If a killer was using the Internet to interact with people discussing his case would he not write the exact kind of things Alden writes? He is either doing that on purpose, or he really did kill her, either way that's pretty scary, if you think it's cool that people think you're basically a serial killer then you have serious issues. What was this guy charged with in court again? Threatening to kill someone right? This guy clearly wants people to think he killed MM, so why is everyone so quick to say no way? Nope, don't worry he's just pretending he's a killer. What's the 'main event'?? Is that when everyone finds out that MM was killed by a serial killer & he's been discussing the case with people online for years? It's only a matter of time before this happens, it's not if but rather when. Just like serial killers have used newspapers in the past they're going to use the Internet eventually, same thing just a different medium. Imagine how big of a media shit show it is going to be the first time this happens for real. If it came out that Alden is her killer it would be worldwide news no question about it, the media would be as big, or bigger than any serial killer yet just bc of the Internet angle. So why is it so crazy to admit that Alden might be responsible? If he don't want people to think that he should stop making posts implying it, it's sick & twisted either way. |

Judged: 2 2 1 It makes sense & I agree that it's obviously him but do you have anything more than just the posts sound like they're written by the same person? That would be great if you could prove it BC that would prove beyond any shadow of the doubt that FrmLE is completely full of shit. I think it was petty obvious considering EVERYTHING he said was the complete opposite of what the real cops who really worked this case said, but some people seemed to believe the guy. This person claimed to see an article on the 10th???? WTF?? |

Judged: 2 2 2 I guess the lesson that is supposed to be learned here is, don't ever, ever believe anyone that claims that a missing woman might be alive. Does it make you feel good that you showed us that in this instance its foolish to actually have hope? Seems like it does. Well I have news for you. I'm not going to live my life believing the glass is always half empty. Oh wait, I'm one of the only people that was "stupid enough" to fall for this. All you people do here create pointless drama, spy on people, plague this thread with pessimism and accusation. You threaten each other, call each other names, and sit around wasting your time trying to figure out how to trick other people, while the other half ponder over which of the other people might not be telling the truth. This whole thread is nothing but a self perpetuating machine of Internet sadism and a showcase of the worst in humanity. The discussions are canned rehashes of the same old nothing that leads to nowhere. Have fun folks. And a special brownie for the beagle. Crazy |
