Tyler is correct about who this person said he was because he told me the same.
He also said that he had no contact with Ben and that Tyler got a number of headers from Ben and sent them to him. Who knows what the truth really is. At this point only God knows and I think even he is scratching his head.

Someone crashed their car near a corner and then ran from the scene after being seen by several people, almost certainly to avoid a drunk driving charge.

Your point about how is this gonna help find Maura is valid, & determining exactly what happened in the crash probably won't have any bearing on what happened after the crash but it could, you don't know what happened to her & neither do I, therefore we need to look at what's available to us.
This is, & has been One of the major problems with this case since the beginning, te glaring contradictions at almost every turn. We have a police report that directly contradicts what the witnesses stated, why is that?
Do you have any idea how her car could've sustained so much damage while being held as evidence by Troop F? Do you not find something seriously wrong with that? Why is it that the ONLY damage to the car while in the NHSP's custody just happens to be EXACTLY where the damage from the accident is, ruining any & all evidentiary value the vehicle held when it was taken into custody by the NHSP, for evidence? How do you Look at that & NOT wonder WTF? I'm definitely not saying that's proof of some conspiracy but WTF is going on here? Is it commonplace for the NHSP to let evidence being held by them get ruined? Damn NH must be a great place to be a criminal huh? They can't even hold evidence, how do they ever get any convictions?
