It is still a legitimate question & until we find out what really happened it should be asked. Why does the police report contradict what the witnesses said? Why did Smith lie to the family on their arrival to the HPD telling them he thought it was Fred driving the car, when he clearly knew it was Maura who crashed. I really don't think there was a conspiracy, I think there's probably honest answers to these questions, but it's no wonder why some people have thought this over the years. It's hard to look at those facts & just say no way, tree definitely was no conspiracy. Is that what you think? How do you know that? Sucks there's no real journalists anymore willing to ask tough questions like this to LE. If I had an opportunity to interview the NHSP one of my first questions would be how did the Saturn receive so much damage while being held as evidence by Troop F? Is it commonplace for the NHSP to allow evidence to be ruined while in their possession? Do you not wonder what the answers to these questions are?

Oh that's where it is. It was intense for sure. H2o sure has some power. I knew of a place with a camper on the river but it was behind Butch's and to the right. There is a little road down to it from 112 on the corner. Thought it might have been that one and that one is up kinda high and set back from the river. A cool spot. Thanx.....john

Obviously I can't read cuz I've clearly stated something that does NOT fit in with what you are saying because addressing it only complicates things. That being said shouldn't we ignore the evidence and assume that if someone opposes what I say that I must be correct? Obviously I don't think most of the people here read the police report and that gives me a chance to contradict what the witnesses stated. That is not something that should be pointed out. Is that proof of some grand conspiracy? Absolutely. Does it mean LE was involved in any way in her disappearance? Its convenient for me to think so. It isn't illegitimate to question me & until we find out why people want to discuss this rationally, I feel compelled to ask. Why do I contradict what the police report and witnesses said? Why do I lie to the forum and pretend it wasn't me driving the car, when I clearly know Maura wouldn't drive the car? I think there is a conspiracy to discover honest answers to these questions, but it's no wonder why some people have argued against this over the years. It's hard to look at my blatant fabrications & just say no way,[there] definitely nothing up with t his guy. That's what I want you think. How can you not buy what I'm selling? Sucks there's no real journalists anymore willing to ask tough questions like this to ME. If I had an opportunity to interview the NHSP one of my first questions would be did you think my car is a piece of crap? Is it commonplace for me to assume the NHSP has damaged my car because its convenient and supports my bogus argument. Do you not wonder what I am really up to? Thanks for explaining that.
