Smith was coming from Cottage hospital, I don't see any problem here at all. Smith made a mistake and took a wrong turn. If there was another accident it would be on the call log but it is not cause it doesn't exist unless the dispatch officer is in cahoots..

If I remember correctly it was Cottage Hosp or the power lines on Lime Kiln road, Either way I don't see any big deal here or major conspiracy issue. Dispatch listens in on cruiser to cruiser communication right? It is public? There is no evidence or communication of a first accident.

Admittedly, I'm not familiar with the "first accident" theory. If there was a "first accident," then where is it believed to have occurred? Why do you believe that there was a "second accident?" Assuming that Maura crashed her car in a location other than the curve, isn't it possible that her car simply stalled-out near the barn? Or is the "second accident" part of the theory?

If she heard a crash in front of her house, why go to the side window?

Who is to say that she didn't look out the front windows too? Look at the way the house and windows are situated - there are front windows, then a window next to them on the east side of the house, then there is the house extension father to the east with one window facing right at the accident. We have no idea which windows she looked out of, it could be one, it could be all.

Sitting here right now, I can hear cars going down my street, and I can tell where they are located by the sound. The same would be likely for FW - wherever she heard the sound of the crash, she would go to the closest window to the noise. My feeling, from looking at Guy's drawing and what I can see of the snow in photos, is that Maura sheared off the show/hit the steel pole(s) closer to the east side of the house. The poles themselves don't even start until you are at the far east corner of the main house, and I don't believe she hit the first one - I believe she hit one or more of the next three. With that in mind, I believe FW would have heard the noise of the crash on the east side of the house and, therefore, would have looked out of an east window to see the crash.

I didn't actually mean that she hit "one of more" of the poles - I meant that she hit one of the poles beyond the first one.

Anybody getting the sense that some people might be having a little fun at Renner's expense? Come up with an almost believable story & you got the best sighting yet!
Come on, be for real here, does anybody really think that a year after she disappeared she was a dealer at a casino in Vegas? Does he not realize how completely ridiculous that sounds? How many 22 yr old dealers are there in Vegas, or any casino for that matter?
The second response on his blog pretty much proved the sighting to be bunk as the person shows that the casino in question wasn't even open in '05 so clearly this guy's story isn't exactly reliable. I find it hilarious that this person can look that up in 2 minutes but Renner is posting 'best sighting yet' without even doing that much research. Lol, funny shit right there.
Not only does it make zero sense she was a dealer just a year later & unlikely she'd be a dealer at 22, there's no way in hell she coulda gotten a job there. Casinos do background checks out the ass, what did she buy a new identity that was good enough to beat the best background check system in the world? Casinos, particularly Nevada casinos don't mess around when it comes to background checks, no way MM would get hired & it's extremely unlikely she was able to obtain a true new identity that would hold up to such scrutiny, not happening.

The nursing comment, like anyone making up a sighting wouldn't know to throw that in. And then the whole thing about the homeless girl in Atlanta mentioning being abused. Wowww what a surprise a homeless woman said she was abused?? It MUST be Maura.

Good point. Add to that the fact that dealing at a casino in Vegas isn't exactly an under the radar type job like that of a housekeeper or nanny. Probably not the best job for someone in hiding.

Personally I don't think there was some big conspiracy, I think the simplest answer is usually correct & the simplest answer here is she caught a ride from the scene & fell victim to foul play at some point after that. Going strictly by the numbers that is by far the most likely scenario & I believe the facts of the case point to this as well.
While there is no evidence supporting a conspiracy I think there are several questions that deserve answers & I can really see why some people think this, people aren't just making this up out of thin air for the fun of it.
Why does the police report contradict witness statements?
Why is there a gap in the gcsd logs for the hour before the crash & why are there multiple versions of the log? Were there really zero calls for over an hour before she crashed?
Why did smith lie to the family upon their arrival to Haverhill?
Why did the HPD lie & claim there was a witness who said she appeared intoxicated when no such witness existed?
How did her Saturn GET DAMAGED WHILE BEING HELD AS EVIDENCE BY THE NHSP?? Is it common for evidence being held by the NHSP to be damaged ruining any evidentiary value?
Why was the ONLY part of the car damaged while in the NHSP's possession the same EXACT part of the car that completely ruined any & all evidentiary value? That's just a coincidence right?

How do people look at these & NOT think something might be wrong here? I'm NOT saying this is proof of conspiracy by any stretch but can you not see how people might reach that conclusion? Looking at all these different little things, & there's more than I listed, it's not completely unreasonable to ask questions like this.
To the contrary- how does anybody look at all those little facts & questions and say there definitely was not some sort of conspiracy? How can anyone be so sure of this? That doesn't make any sense, that's completely ignoring & glossing over facts that matter.

I'm NOT saying there's some huge conspiracy, but in absence of evidence we need to look at everything we can, & when we have that many strange things going on it's perfectly reasonable to consider that there may be something more than meets the eye going on.

I really don't believe there's a conspiracy but the one thing I just can't get over is the damage received WHILE BEING HELD AS EVIDENCE.....WTF IS UP WITH THAT???
