We should clarify that Jimmy isn't a journalist. He was unable to can his ego and got into trouble with his bosses. Kind of like what his ego did to him in doggy court.
I'm curious about his teaching position. Seems really odd to me that his bosses there don't see how badly his behavior will affect recruitment at his school....Wonder if they are even aware of Jr's presence here and at his blog. He is very outspoken concerning politics and religion and I would think it would be prudent to try and real the little fella in a bit...hmmmmm.

I personally don't think that is likely. That would be like a detective coming back and telling you they have a suspect (giving you his name and address and date of birth) who they think killed your mom. Do you really think they would risk telling a victim that, without enough evidence to actually arrest the person? I don't think they would. It would strike me as dangerous as hell and very possibly make them liable as well if someone acted on that information, that might even be faulty.

Just my best guess.

I still do not know what this all means. But it might help James narrow his focus (no need to look into innocent parties).

The "assistance" of LE would require a warrant from the court, and I'm pretty sure the judge or DA wouldn't ask or grant one in a case like this. Had one been issued and a warrant was used to obtain someone's identity it is doubtful that anyone would be allowed to post it on their forum.

I think it is possible that perhaps an IP for a person was already known so when the IP hit the blog again it was easy to identify. The likelihood for something like this is low.
