And just to straighten you out on some reality here, it's not about specifically me. It's about people like Renner and Reenstierna and an army of others who eagerly attack people and ideas just for the thrill of it, just because it stokes their massive egos. You've shown yourself to be cut from the same cloth, although you, like Maruchan, are far more subtle.

It's amazing how many posters say I "inserted" myself into this. As if participation in a public discussion is somehow a wrong thing. Did you never "insert" yourself into a situation that needed to be challenged because it was wrong? Did you never get in someone's face because they were wrong?

Did DC not "insert" HIM-self? Snowy? Bill? Hannah? You? Jenkins? Others? No one ever says THEY wrongly "inserted" themselves into this. Instead of saying "inserted," as if it is something wrong, you could maybe try "participate," or "speak up," or something like that. Instead, you imply that I am somehow trespassing and deserve what I get. Which is like saying a woman deserves to get raped if her skirt is too short. Same logic. Blame the victim. How fckn ironic from a herd of pro-fems. And then you get all shook up when I call you out on it.

Almost every other poster on this thread is, at one time or another, even when I don't post for weeks or months, more obsessed with me than they are interested in what happened to Maura. Which speaks volumes. Even when I don't post for a long spell of time, people beckon me back, especially DC. They track down my friends and leave disturbing messages. They can't stand it when I DON'T "insert" myself so that they can then yell at me for taunting Maura's family and having "inserted" myself yet again.

You whine and whine about the vids when you know damn well only Lance Reenstierna saw the originals because he was waiting for them. You keep going back to the vids. They are your only crutch. Yet you and the entire world know the vids were never intended to taunt the Murrays or anyone else, and they never could have. You and Maruchan and others, despite your faux disagreements with Renner and his ilk, keep falling back, for years now, on vids, seen and unseen, that are so utterly mis-characterized that they are unrecognizable by your own description of them.

You spar with Renner, but you somehow cannot help mentioning the vids in the same paragraph. You even endorse Renner's version of a vid he has merely alleged was made. Seems you and Maruchan suddenly loose your skepticism of Renner there and readily, greedily accept his assertion with no proof. But that inconsistency of yours just slips right on by, doesn't it?

So you have nothing to address except my interest in checking bullies. Which is every bit as much my right to do on a venue like Topix as is your opinion about anything else. Like all bullies, you just cannot tolerate the fact that I push back. And have been pushing back since 2005. I may not push back pretty, I may push back very awkwardly, my voice may shake when I speak, it's definitely not my strong suit, but I, unlike too many others, am here to oppose the likes of you and won't ever stop no matter what the venue. That's a lot to digest. There's definitely merit and validity to some of your argument. This is likely the best post you've made that I know of explaining your position.
I certainly do take issues with some of what you have stated here, but, I'm going to take this one in for a bit and see if I can respond a little more deeply than my usual flippant return. I will say that you have given me food for thought concerning some of my behavior.

It's a really good point you make about the lapse. Also concerning the statement that speaking well isn't a strong point....? Yet, I have to honestly say that the post has made me think and yes, there is validity to it. For me, it's mostly a game. Any hope of something of value for the resolution to this case, here, is minuscule I like to match wits and debate with people here, especially those that like to stir the pot and make ridiculous statements in general, but against innocents as well. I have examined my behavior and I think I do feed my ego with my my activity here. To be honest, I believe that I have some feelings of inadequacy concerning my lack of education and.sparring with those with a more formal scholastic back ground gives me some form of validation. At least in my own mind.
I am confident in my intelligence.I have worked hard to fill in the gaps in knowledge that I chose to forgo as a younger person, but, at the end of the day, I regret my lack of a formal education.
The point made about him "inserting" himself into the debate is beyond valid and he has every right to call me out on that. He correctly states that he can't walk away from the case because he is constantly called back into it. Another extremely valid point that I really didn't consider.
The biggest point that I just can't give him is the one concerning the videos. His statement concerning them being taken out of context and totally misunderstood could well be the case, but, inmho, to suggest that the world in general should have been able to interpret his meaning of them is asking way to much. The response he got for them should be proof enough. He could have saved himself tons and tons of grief by explaining that when he began to receive the tremendous response he got for them.

I've never chosen to square off with beagle in any major way. I have thrown some comments and opinions out there, but, we've only had a few skirmishes here and there. I'm actually very surprised that he would go after Maruchan, she has been very supportive of him through out.
I do question whether that post or the one posting is even him, but, there were good points made.

Add in the fact that Linda/Paris always makes logical, well-written posts, that Pomkik impersonates pretty much everybody here, has previously posted using the Isanti, MI, address, is spending a bit of energy to claim that Linda/Paris is the one who told her/Pomkik to threaten Sam, and the fact that "Linda's" posts contain some typing ideosyncracies that Pomkik has, and I think it's pretty clear this is just a further game of Pomkik.

Part of my point is that something like this is a new punch in the face every damn day. Once it's online, the fight cannot be stopped.

The two vids were on You Tube so briefly and at such a late hour that they could never be considered taunts. In order for them to be considered taunts, the family would have to have been able to see them. They weren't. But the vids did reveal that Lance Reenstierna was right there waiting for them.

People constantly criticize me for those two vids, but I am not the one who is hosting them. Renner is hosting them - something for which he is, amazingly, never criticized, even by Maura's family. If anyone has a problem with the vids, then talk with Renner. He's the one who's using them to taunt the family, not me.

I would also point out that when your friends receive disturbing phone calls about MM (and terminate their landlines as a result), and when a Hadley private detective, Robert C. Stevens, chases you, stalking-style, through 4 towns for a dozen miles, I am not exactly "injecting" myself into this case.

As long as people like Renner and Stevens are pushing my buttons, I'm standing my ground, even if I do it badly.
