NHwoodsman52 wrote: A few people have posted if Maura was in the woods she should have been found by now. I vehemently disagree, I feel most that have posted that haven't been there or haven't taken to the woods, trails perhaps but not the thick nasty underbrush and unforgiving woods. Consider the Lear jet that crashed in NH about 10 or so years ago, it took years for it to be found and it was only a fluke. A surveyor discovered it quite by chance. Think how much damage a plane of that size does and the exposed surface area compared to a human being. Also consider after all these years what may remain of Maura if she is indeed in the woods. Even with a well coordinated grid search it would be easy to miss clues. You also have potential miles and various roads she could have taken, where do you begin? To say we looked and didn't find her so she's not there is absurd or naive. Having tracked game with a fresh trail I can say it is extremely difficult. Finding an animal you know is down even with a starting point can be almost impossible in the thick woods and brush. Having done it for several people I can say first hand it isn't as easy as some may think. There really isn't much more to add to this post. Great point about the leer jet that crashed, took years to find it. My personal opinion, just based on my experience with this case and in general, is that the odds that Maura is somewhere in those woods where she walked is over 99.5%. The odds that she was abducted and killed is .4%, and the odds that she is alive living somewhere is .1%, or less. Just my opinion.

Remember Maura is our family member and we want her found regardless of what others thoughts and opinions are.

I agree 100% as stated by Butch Atwood she was shaking and appeared cold when he saw her, consider her running the distance she did if it was her Forcier saw, she was a perfect Hypothermia candidate. With hypothermia comes a form of dementia and all bets are off as to what a person does. Her head may have hit the windshield, concussion, brain bleed, who knows.

How are they childhood friends? The age difference doesn't match? This was posted by Mr. Renner, if I'm reading it right it was a first hand conversation Mr. Renner had with Mr.Healy. i caught that reference, too, and although i didn't know their respective ages, i thought that reference was an odd throwback to their supposed connection. thanks for the addit'l info.

But you're wrong. I do believe what you said about the locals and their helpfulness and kindness. What I don't believe is that you ever stood up for them. No one went after you citigirl. Asking you to stand up and say that the bashing and namecalling of the locals that helped you was wrong is not attacking you in any way. You've shown where you stand so I really don't see the need to talk about it any further. This is exactly why the first MMM forum was a hate filled forum full of meanness and hate because people like you said nothing when the locals were being bashed to death and dragged thru the mud. My words of wisdom for the day: Birds of a feather flock together.

What we did do is if we had come in contact with some one we would say who we were and why we were there.

Did I go after specific posters? No I did not. Although there has not always been good things said on the forums about the people from NH the hearts from the people of NH still remain open for Maura.

You've said all this before. Since you can't seen to absorb what someone is saying I'll just repeat this once more and then I give up.TELLING SOMEONE THEY ARE WRONG FOR ATTACKING AND BASHING GOOD PEOPLE IS NOT "GOING AFTER THEM". IT IS STANDING UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT.(Not shouting but just writing in in letters as you seem to have trouble seeing and understanding what I write. A sensible conversations seems to be out of the question.

Wowzer the real one wrote: <quoted text>Why would you explain why you were there? Where is "there"? Did you come in contact with them in their yards, stores, walking on the street, etc.etc I did it out of common courtesy. I live in a neighborhood where I dont know everyone but when there is an unfamilar face around I know it and did not want to worry any one because I was a stranger and unfamiliar face to the area. So with this I introduced myself with people I had seen walking on the street or in there yards.

She would have not been able to do that to u because you are a member of the Murray family. Furthermore Wowzer would have been accused of just being a 'local' sticking up for other locals.
