Tom,
The night Maura 'took off' from her car, there was some kind of a meeting in town and many were returning home that night at just about that time. Some stopped to see if they could help in any way.
FM goes by the W-Mans who say they saw Maura 2 minutes before CS came along. Meanwhile, before police get there, Barbara takes the return call and says she doesn't know where the girl is. And how would she? She has been inside the whole time.

Maura was a beginner driver, just recently got her license, minimal driving experience under her belt. Unlikely that she would get behind the wheel of an ailing car and drive alone to the icy, slippery, winding roads of remote NH on her own.
They say the Saturn was not drivable. It had to be towed back to Amherst after some kind of diagnostics in October of 2003. Did she use that car though to drive to the NH party on New Years? How did she get back to campus from that party? Who drove? Friends say she hadn't driven in several weeks. Was that when she got back to campus? Come to think of it, I have never heard anyone say "Maura was back at UMASS on January XX. Does anybody know like Sharon or Billy might that she was definately back on say January 16th. Oh well, just a side thought, ha. But Maura had driven it enough to know that she'd rather not drive it, sure. But she had no problem driving her dad's car, and young people are like that especially if they need to be somewhere. They'll take their chances when all else fails. I still think Maura knew she was taking off for a long time and would have preferred to have had that new car that she and her dad had looked at that weekend. JMO, what I'd do....

How am I smearing his character? I'm sure if there was another POI made public and we were speaking about them then others would say stop the character smearing. I'm sorry but there are signs that show that he is a POI. There is more on him than anyone else we know about.
A lot of times when a women dies the husband automatically becomes a POI, or if a man dies the wife becomes one. Usually its the people close to us that harm us in cases like this.
Hi Tom. When Sharon, Billy and his dad got to NH, police took him to the side and grilled him. He told Sharon, mom they think I had something to do with it. So, sure, they do look at the people in your life first. I just don't recall anyone EVER taking Fred aside to do the same.

I wonder why we were always told his job was repairing/maintaining respiratory equipment for the company that makes it. He wouldn't be working in an actual patient setting, he'd be repairing the respirators in the basement or some place like that.
He had a traveling job, assigned to do repairs for a geographic region. Which is why he was allegedly in Ct (he lives in Weymouth MA) when MM went missing.

many unanswered questions remain; many assumptions have been made from misinformation, and then reported and repeated as facts.
Topix posters of PBB association have repeatedly claimed to know of FM's alibi during the time he was supposedly unreachable, and they're not sharing.

Unless another suit hasn't been reported, Mr. Murray sued for records. Though it was something of a hollow victory, the New Hampshire Supreme Court agreed. See
FREDERICK J. MURRAY
v.
NEW HAMPSHIRE DIVISION OF STATE POLICE, SPECIAL INVESTIGATION UNIT
Accordingly, because the respondents have not met their burden to justify withholding the requested documents, we remand the matter for a new hearing. On remand, if the respondents continue to resist disclosure, they must make a presentation that will allow the superior court to determine how disclosure of the requested information could interfere with an ongoing investigation or enforcement proceedings.
Here I go again offering my thoughts to the crowd. Fred is aggressively looking for his daughter. We don't know if Maura was being threatened in some way and told be be quiet about whatever was to happen next. Or if she had just had enough of this life and was going to go clear out her mind, stay in her car overnight if she had to, but she seemed to be itching to go to NH like it seems she did. People say they SAW her. One from UMASS when she left, and (was she in her car? probably), and at least 6 in NH. We can argue that the only one close enough, the SBD, well, he's the only one who was close enough as he sat on his bus and spoke to her as he held his flashlight to the wreck he had just witnessed.

oh my point, yes, where was I? Fred is too aggresive for the likes of NHSP. They may be afraid he will go right to the parties that offered up any confidential information, and therfor intimidate them. I've read enough to know that they don't want certain aspects of this case to leak out. I'm holding out hope that MM is in a witness protection program.

it's never been established exactly when she got her license. FKitty worked really hard to obfuscate rather than enlighten on that issue.
or, for that matter, when she returned to campus from break, exactly when she left WP to enroll and attend at UMASS, among other seemingly innocuous details about her life before disappearing.

I wasn't suggesting that he did his work in a dungeon, I only meant a place where there were no patients or monitors or equipment that could be interfered with by cellphone use. All hospitals have areas where you can use your cell.

Sharon said MM was a new driver. She's about the only person I ever believed. As for FartCat, yes she was an absolute master at obfuscating.

a standard FOIA doesn't need legal counsel, else it would be prohibitive for the general public to access. just common sense. like knowing your surroundings....which towns are near where you live. can i not babble and blather like everyone else?
it's also commonsensical to avoid being antagonistic to law enforcement authorities right out of the gate. they don't like that.

They dod grill Billy and he had a stone alibi. They never sat down and did that to Fred he waited to sit and talk to them two years later and brought lawyers. His actions are very perplexing.

I think once LE ruled out Billy they started focusing on Fred. Most of these crimes have something to do with the assailant knowing the victim.

why would Kelly Ayotte assign Fred with an advocate? Obviously he is not a POI.
is advocacy a right of the courts/legal system? could be. it doesn't follow that he's not a POI because he was assigned an advocate.

How do you get that he repaired hospital equipment
Page #9711 Advocate tells you his occupation.
Fred's job was/is as a medical radiation technologist.
I sure wouldn't want an auto mechanic shooting nuclear medicine into my veins...pretty sure I'd go to an automechanic to fix my car, probably not a medical technician.
Google it!!
and what was Advocate's source for this information? slow it down. no one is swallowing information whole anymore.

Doubtful the standard FOI INITIAL request would. But when your request is denied the next step is to take it to court. Would you go up against the Attorney General's office in court without an attorney? Especially one who offered to help pro bono?
