Bumping for Maura wrote: Well, it´s quite interesting to see that the NHSP Cold Case Unit is describing the circumstances of Maura´s case as being "suspicious" on its own official web page. Doesn´t really seem to me as if the NHSP CCU considers Maura´s case to be a matter of someone who either intentionally or not perished in the woods... Such a scenario would hardly warrant the word "suspicious". NOTE: Maura Murray is currently classified as an Endangered Missing Adult, and Senior Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Strelzin states, "We don't know if Maura is a victim, but state is treating it as a potential homicide … it may be a missing person's case, but it's being handled as a criminal investigation." http://investigation.discovery.com/tv/disappe...

Yes, there are people with specific agendas that WANT this to be considered suspicious. It really isn't. Common sense dictates that it be handled as a criminal case though it is likely that it is not that at all. Those would be the tools that one would use to try to solve this. Of course, those tools have likely run into the same wall. No real evidence to give a specific direction. Remember, we likely would not be having this conversation at all, if Maura just waited at the car like she should have. Bill

Kind of brings the whole thing full circle with the main point: She should have waited by the car.

Most people get away with running from their car and turn up hours or a couple of days later. Not so in this case. I have taught my kids to be wary that they never become the person that everyone else points to as an example of what not to do. With all the promise that Maura appeared to have, it is sad that this has been what she has became. Think before you act, then while acting keep thinking. Bill

Found this there The Cold Case Unit was organized in the Fall of 2009 to combine the experience of the Attorney General's Office, the Major Crime Unit, and a city detective. The Unit is staffed with a prosecutor and three detectives who will focus on reviewing unsolved homicides, unresolved suspicious deaths, and MISSING PERSONS CASES IN WHICH FOULD PLAY IS SUSPECTED IN THE PERSON'S DISAPPEARANCE. more …my caps

Bill I think at this point Maura would want her case to be an example to help others learn from her mistakes.
