Sorry, I don't mean Renner asked citigirl first and she said okay. I should have asked whether they - whatever "they" means - were complicit. Perhaps they concocted this story, so naturally Renner could claim that citigirl didn't return his calls? This whole thing is a witch's brew of ISP addresses, monikers, and real or imaginary family members. It's like the rest of Renner's stories - garbage, very mixed up garbage. Smoke and mirrors. Junk. Not to mention the recent, kind posts of my friend "beaglefukker" from Toronto.

Nothing new on the Maura Murray segment tonight on WMUR channel 9 news. Just an e-mail from a girl at UMASS who will put up missing posters. 8 Years John

The understanding I had of the segment tonight was that Fred still would like the FBI involved and he's still blaming the SP Trooper for not finding her saying he was her only chance or something similar to that. Beside that there wasn't much new.

From Mr. Renner's latest blog: "... a reader sent me an email which included, as an attachment, a report given to Lt. Scarinza of the NH State Police in 2009. The report was written by a CPA named James Leone. Leone knows computers. He understands how to track an IP address. He was contacted by the moderator of a forum devoted to finding what happened to Maura Murray. Someone had posted the supposed "true" story... AND "From Leone's report: I have been told that second hand the following: "Citigirl" is ..." Oh please. What CPA would write a letter to the police saying: "I've been told that second hand..."? Someone is yanking Mr. Renner's chain or he's yanking it himself.

What would you think if you saw a Hadley police officer walking to work every day, no gun, no cuffs (which even off-duty officers are required to carry). Administrative work? Administrative leave?

"She crashed her car on Route 112 in North Haverhill at about 7:30 p.m. It was pitch black and 10 degrees outside." More crap. They just continue to pile it on, the truth means nothing in their pursuit. It was above freezing and not pitch black. We have been over this twenty times if we have once. Bill

Simply Caustic wrote: I think it was bogus of Renner to post citigirl's (alleged) full legal name, based upon a 'report' he obtained from a CPA? Sigh. I wish I listened earlier when some here had voiced concerns over his credibility - it's a bit ridiculous to start 'outting' people via there Topix screenname. If Citi really did post "This is very interesting, it somehow has the ring of truth to it. This is common knowledge in certain circles of people who are close to the family." (And there's no real proof she did other than that she hasn't come around here since she became the belle of the ball) then she completely deserved to have her name published. It's the opposite of everything she's said on here. Both stories can't be true. It might have been kind of pushy on Renner's part. But Citi's fishy. And I'm not the only one who thinks so.

I don't think Mr. Renner has to scour for scuttlebutt on any forums, it's being sent directly to him and in the absence of any real facts he's just throwing all the nonsense out there to see what sticks. I'd love to see the letterhead of the CPA (James Leone) who wrote and "sent" the "report" to Scarinza. CPAs don't write reports of any kind based on innuendo -- that can get them into a heap of trouble.("Someone told me secondhand that the revenue was $720,000,000 so, jolly good, that's what it is!" Remember Enron?) Why did I have dream last night about strangers in a Chinese restaurant having an egg-roll fight?

Maura's story is as compelling as all the others. unfortunately, forums attract interested people, but group social dynamics end up in the type of disagreements we've seen over so many years. it's unfortunate that Maura became objectified by attempts to control information about her to the public. over time, that serves only to diminish the level of compassion that brought us all here in the first place. still, we can't walk in another's shoes.

I vaguely recall something about Maura's having misplaced her cell phone or left it behind at some point, some place? Is that when she crashed the Corolla in Hadley? Did she have her cell phone with her then? Thanks.
