It might be a pass holder? I don't know if skiers use them but at Nascar they have them to protect the ticket. You just put it around your neck.. I am not a skier but wanted to throw that out there.

Night skiing for Alpine and only on Friday and Saturday per website. Inexpensive as well -- $99 per night, perhaps someone treated themselves with the $280 in MM's wallet.

I don't think that you read the material I and others tried to point you towards to help you understand Occam. Please re-read the information, because you the way you speak of Occam, it makes you sound less that intelligent. If you need for me to give you more references to try to understand Occam, please let me know. Always happy to try to help someone learn how to use logic and common sense to help them get through the day or to solve problems of all types.

Not to sound ungrateful professor, but nobody really gives a rat's a*se about Occam. Although Archer Mayor is a fine writer. Do you know him then? Archer, not Occam.

If I'm reading this right, a forum-follower/CPA/crackerjack computer techie was contacted by the moderator of a forum (WHO? WHICH FORUM? HELENA??? OR???)...this moderator requested IP tracking of someone (allegedly citigirl, through a convoluted train of IP's and usual locations and utter b.s. in my opinion....)...and why, precisely, did this moderator desperately need the IP tracked? What did this citigirl(allegedly) have to say that was so vital to the moderator?

The moderator wanted to know who "Observer" was. So she contacted Leone.
So the moderator was so swayed by this message that she tracked down her hacker-CPA-person Mr. Leone and had the IP tracked. What about this message was so compelling?
This seems really queer to me. Out of all the thousands of posts made on the varied forums dedicated to Maura's disappearance...the alleged sightings, the allegations against Fred, the arguing and bickering and other such b*llshit...what made this the post that the mod just HAD to stalk down?

Let's disregard Occam for the moment. Can we agree that this is most likely some sort of unkind hoax? Without, of course, disregarding something more sinister as a possibility. No reason to get terribly worked up until someone can figure out the poster's IP address (which would be easy enough to get from YouTube, if police are alerted and decide to follow up).

In all sincerity, good for you, especially for being able to define and co-create your own belief system. We're all entitled to our own perceptions and thank goodness we live in a part of the world where we're permitted to express them.

What about this post below is SO compelling, that the moderator @ Maura's forum felt behooved to track down the IP address?

Which forum (and thus, which moderator) plays a big part in this for me...and I don't have that info. However....if nothing about the above post were true, why track them down?

mcsmom brought up Ben Franklin - I remember him from the (forumer, was it? Advocate's place?) old forum....one of them, at least.

If the moderator in question IS Helena, that's suspect to me. It infers that they were trying to keep a tight lid on any family leaks....especially of the "Maura's not perfect and she voluntarily left" variety.

Don't know who did it. Don't know if it has any meaning whatsoever. It's not the same date, its close, so someone is playing with something s/he thinks is funny. Big deal. It doesn't get anyone closer or farther from what happened to Maura. Another red herring. Something for people to wile away their days and nights chasing their tail. Enjoy, great entertainment.
