I guess you are saying that you condone the posts. JWB, I would suggest that you leave Tom out of this. If you have to explain your actions yesterday then do so, but don't drag Tom back into it. I don't know the guy, and you seem nice enough. Perhaps a little misguided at times, but considering I've only been here for a couple of days I'm in no position to judge. That said, you resolved all of this with Tom yesterday, and he apologized so I would suggest you use the past tense or at least figure out some other way to defend your actions because it doesn't especially help your case if your posts can be interpreted as attempting to prolong the feud with Tom. That said I don't think you're a bully. You were badgering him, certainly, but perhaps you just didn't know of another way to get your point across. Anyway, I'd like to point out it isn't Tom who is criticizing your actions at this point, it's Snowy and Wowzer, it would be in your favour to clearly address your rebuttals to them.

While I'm sure the person who gave it to FM was just trying to be helpful, and that FM was trying to salvage whatever value was left in this piece of evidence, I don't think after having such an unorthodox chain of custody that this piece of evidence would have any use whatsoever at this point. Perhaps it could lead them in the direction of the perpetrator if in fact it was ever connected, but apart from that it's essentially useless, if I'm not mistaken. Dead on Vanderhoven. Mail gets misplaced all the time etc.Chain of evidence is huge. To send evidence by mail is just mind boggling to me. I would march it right down to the police station and have it logged in right in front of me.

I have moved on from it and I hope tom joins the conversation. I enjoy Tom and what he has to say.I am not harping on tom again but just having to explain myself again as It was brought up by another poster.(wowzer)

I would march it right down to the police station and have it logged in right in front of me. Well, I would think that whether or not it was mailed the chain of evidence would be severely compromised as it was. To mail it though, yes that's awfully cavalier. What if it were misplaced... Yikes. That said, if LE refused to take it from him by any other means then I suppose he had no choice but to mail it. Still, I can't say I'd be plopping a potential lead to what happened to my daughter in the mailbox. I don't have any kids though, so maybe there is some sort of parental logic I'm not privy to. Whatever the case, and as weird as it may be, I'm tremendously reluctant to judge FM to any exceptional degree. The particular series of events surrounding this case, along with the fractured channels of communication between FM and LE would certainly lead to some less than ideal actions/events.

Reading the blog, and observing recent events, I see Beagle more as an aspiring writer of fiction and compulsive attention seeker than anything else. I see know reason to believe anything he says. Or to believe he believes it either. Whatever his motivation, I'm inclined to think EVERYTHING he puts in the public domain is carefully contrived fantasy devised to illicit reactions and nothing more. I don't just mean the being questioned regarding MM but the whole 'I work at Walmart and live on the streets' thing. Take it all with a pinch of salt. Including the stylised pathos, street smart declarations and sympathy pleas. Acid House, I believe this is the post that evoked a response. The times match up.

It's my opinion that the person who has been posting this crap has just removed any suspicion that they may be connected to the case. Which means, eventually the conversations surrounding this garbage will die down. Sooner, than it would had it just been the menacing laughter filled taunt-a-whirl, which strikes me as kind of sad, if you're attention seeking why go against your best interests by bringing up a ridiculous tangent like that? Geesh, It's just so hard to get sustained attention these days.

The video and his post each are approx an hour ago.The video was obviously just thrown together as saying I get the gold star so look at me. Pretty sick stuff.

Ergo, if I've unwittingly provoked a response in an attention seeker then I've done so not as a result of his own output but of other people's describing his output. Very postmodern. Very annoying, doubtless, to the attention seeker too. I won't be losing any sleep, though!
