Just an FYI -- my old forum (the first one I set up) was still mostly available online up until *very* recently. Meaning, I checked it myself last week to look for something and it was there and accessible, but as of this morning it is gone. It can still be accessed in part if you use the "cache" feature on Google, but I don't know how much of it is accessible that way.
The second forum I set up had not been used by anyone since some point in 2010. Since I had to pay for the site hosting, I decided this past fall not to renew it. However, I did have most or all of the documents and photos and such available from that site on my computer ... until my hard drive died, and all of the items I had from the second forum died with it.
