I do think Beagle made at least one of those videos. I do think that Beagle is still reading here. And I do think that, despite his faults and the seriousness of inserting yourself in a criminal investigation -- no one here has the right to attempt to contact him at work/contact his supervisors?(Wasn't clear - simply stated 'maybe I will call Walmart and see how that goes'.)
I don't discount Beagle's actions as of late. However, that does not give anyone carte blanche to go on the attack re: Beagle, especially given that Beagle may very well have his own personal issues that come into play regarding his actions.
Ridiculous, in my humble opinion.

FWIW I don't think anything is wrong with someone confronting him, anyone that thinks there is "ethics" in life anymore is almost kidding themselves, I've seen some scumbag people lately doing really crummy things. Perhaps Beagle is hoping someone confronts him, it doesn't have to be a punch in the face it can simply be "hey, you are that guy on the internet clouding up the MM topic with videos, what's up with that?" Give him a chance to explain maybe?
I'm dying to know what the hotel is that he shows in the photo montage video, it's the same hotel he posted a picture of on the 7 year anniversary on his blog. Seems a bit too coincidental he's using the same image in two different creative works on the same date 2 years in a row, which also happens to be the anniversary when someone went missing, and he has been questioned "did you kill MM?" (at least he claims to have been asked that by an investigator in an old post). Life is social, the internet is social, he has published himself enough to invite contact, people need to stop operating under the false assumption that they are invincible on the internet.

is it your business to make uninvited contact with a stranger? after all, he doesn't provide PM access.
i don't believe it is a moral conundrum, i believe, as most do, that it is despicable to "out" someone online, and/or to stalk.
comment on his videos...ask him questions here...he'll likely be back....but refrain from piling on, lynch mob style. jmo.

Not being one to quote TV often but there's a line claimed to be a Japanese saying on Mad Men, "a man is whatever room he is in". I don't give a rats ass if someone has a long history of good behavior or pretending to play nice, the point is right now he's posting these videos and begging for attention that will transcend beyond the interaction of a forum. Like I said, I'm not interested enough nor am I geographically close enough, but someone is, and if he keeps posting this stuff it's a matter of time before someone will confront him. Whether it's a forum member or an investigator doesn't really matter, I think he wants someone to ask him face to face.
