Makes me think something really is up with the infamous affidavit and we/dawn is really on to something. Maybe CS or somebody working with or for him was the one to plant this big fat red herring?

Something Smith saw warranted keeping EMS and fire away from the car. His actions are contradicted by his statement regarding thinking it was just another abandoned car by skiers.
So, what inside the car caused Smith to go into "the scene of a crime" mode?
It isn’t what’s inside the car that causes Smith to secure the 112 scene……it’s the fact that this same vehicle was part of the earlier 7:00 pm accident on Swiftwater Road..…the one where the female's car slid off the road.

Everyone sets out to respond but then the call was cancelled saying the female left in a privately owned vehicle. Who has authority to cancel such a call? Rescue turned back. But law enforcement continues to the location and when they arrive, they discover the vehicle is gone.??? So they drive around and at approx. 7:29 pm they then hear that this same vehicle is now over on 112.

If the victim from that 7:00 pm call left in a privately owned vehicle.....why and how did her vehicle leave the Swiftwater Rd location? Who moved it and why?

Mcsmom, just some things that your post made me think about......just thinking out loud.

I am starting to see a pattern here with these type of accidents. Maura's saturn has similar damage to these vehicles.

You mean because some have minds of their own and ideas of their own and refuse to follow the one way pathway of a certain few that they will keep going back to the beginning all over again? Until what??? Till everyone is on the same path? I doubt you'll see that happening. The posters here seem to be independant thinkers.

I certainly do not believe We could ever all be on the same path, but, grab the wheel and steer in the right direction at least. Did You go out of your house the night of the acc. Did You maybe offer any assistance or did You just stay in your warm and fuzzy little house?

Did LE come to your house that night to ask questions, I think not. So which tree or trees did she hit with the saturn? The big pine or the three little ones. NONE of them had damage to them so it must not have happened.

Maura might have left the scene that night w/ someone she knew or not, was picked up by someone bad, walked or ran away, BUT the damage was not caused by hitting a tree.

Truths are truths and need not be created. But do need to be told. Sorry IF you can't handle the truth.

Very interesting if true. Quite some time ago there was posters talking about Maura having taken the wrong turn, thus ending up on rd 112. Could this be the reason? Did they, with or without any substance to it, believe or suspect she might have been on her way to Bethlehem?

It sure seems that someone has hit a nerve and caused some panties and boxers to get twisted in a very tight wad.
This is beginning to sound like the first MM forum. I wonder why.
And why do some feel the need to keep changing their names? Hmmmm

I will steer in whatever I think is the right direction, not the direction that you or anyone else thinks I should go.
What I did or didn't do that night does not concern you in any way.
You should know that there were 5 warm fuzzy houses in plain sight that night that Maura could have gone to for warmth and help. But she chose not to.
If she had none of us would be here talking about it because there would be nothing to talk about.
Oh and since you were so sure that she hit that big pine then how do you know she didn't hit the smaller trees? Why would you have checked them if you thought it was that big pine further down the road? Just curious.
