John, do you think Maura may have taken Rt116 out of Amherst? Is that the best rout to get to either 5,10 or 91?
|
|
Wiki:
Soon after, at 3:30–4:30 pm, a dorm mate says they saw Maura leave the UMass Amherst campus. Maura withdrew $280 from an ATM, and was alone as seen by CCTV footage. |

I have looked into about a dozen emergency road kits
and have yet to find one that has a rag of any sorts. Most come with the reflective triangle or sign to put in window. Anyone know differently? |

Judged: 1 1 Darrell Rice? He wa arrested in 1997 as the RT 29 Stalker but copped a plea.. He was in prison at the time of MM case.. Little bit of a reach on that one.. None since he was arrested.. Down here you mostly have volunteer fire dept. as they are not paid.. several instances of them "abusing their powers" with their lights.. arson just "so they had something to do - direct quote".. etc.. Here murders are normal, least 2-3 a day.. Martinsville has been re-named "Murder-Ville" by the press & news.. Highest "per capita" murder rate in the US.. Just we fall under the 100,000 per capita quota for the FBI results to figure in.. "Log Town" which is Laurel Park Axton, was named "Little Chicago" by TIME magazine.. We have been in several publications for the amount of violence here.. We are at the "main corridor" for drugs & such.. We are close to I-95, I-40, I-81, I-77, I-66 towards WV & 1 more interstate off 81 towards DC.. plus 220 bypass goes straight to I-81 if you head north & I-40 if you head south. If there were any SK's that would have any significant possibilities, I woulda said something when first joined.. |

Judged: 4 3 3 JM was off duty, on his way home from work, heard the info on his car radio, stopped to help to look for MM, pulled up to RO looked at her and said "oh! it's you." (they knew each other). |

Judged: 1 1 1 Thank you, whitenoise. Frankly, I don't have any reason to believe JM did anything wrong. Maybe I'm missing something, but it sounds like everyone that night was just trying to help. Hindsight is 20/20 and all that. |
Renner's update is fabulous, precisely because it is new information.
bravo! conclusions we draw from the info he provides vary, as evident in his comments section. |

For the locals posting here,
Can anyone confirm the nearest public lodging and public transporation options, that would have existed at the time and location of Maura's accident? This has probably been answered before, but I can't find it. |

Judged: 3 2 1 James Renner wrote (in part): "My hunch is that state police have an idea of what may have happened to Maura Murray and who might be responsible. The inclusion of SAAG Strelzin is very telling. After all, he is head of the AG's homicide section. Whatever the evidence is, one thing is very clear: they didn't want Fred Murray to see it." Murderer. Killer. Abductor. Homicide. Suspect. Perpetrator. Dirtbag. Definitely time to reintroduce these seven little words back into our discussion. |

Judged: 1 1 Route 47 north from Hadley/Amherst area to Rte. 63 thru Northfield Ma. then entering NH onto Rte. 10 in Winchester. Keep heading North thru Keene, Goshen (New Yrs. Party.?), Newport, Hanover (Dartmouth College), and then continue North to Haverhill NH. Londonderry ping makes a lot more sense with this route as it is only about 45 miles to Londonderry. This Rte. would have been better for the car and more likely to find help if She broke down. Also if GOSHEN was a stopping point along the way because of the Party or friends. Looking for some real thoughts here..! John |
Judged: 2 2 1 how about re-speculating about FM himself, yes? |
