At this point I think we have to pretty much assume it was Maura driving the car that night. Unless some sort of tangible evidence comes up to the contrary I think it's a pretty safe assumption. Every piece of known evidence points to it being her that was driving the car when it crashed. Yes the sbd said he thought it didn't look like the girl in the pictures but the family clearly didnt provide current pictures that look like her. They gave her graduation picture, pics from west point and a couple other perfect looking pictures. Look at the pic of Maura when she got busted using the cc, she looks nothing like the released pictures. She is way thinner and lost those big chipmunk cheeks. It's no surprise m, the pics were mostly 3 yrs old. It really makes me wonder why the family did that. R they trying to find their daughter or do a PR campaign for her? Yes the family wants to view her in the best possible light but if u want to find your missing family member the most recent pics are very important. After seeing the unass arrest photo I feel like I could've been living next door to her and not even known it.

As far as what has happened since, cannot find a thing. Actually, that's when the AG released the information about the first wreck, where she wrecked the night of supposedly going to her father's hotel. They probably thought this would appease Fred and the courts.

amy researches wrote: <quoted text> I agree. It's interesting that this person continues to post on Renner's blog that they "know for a fact" this is true. If untrue, I wonder why they are so adamant. I don't look at his blog very often. I've replied twice there and my replies were never posted. I wonder if this is the same person that replied on his blog that they "knew" Maura was dead. Someone should tell them that if they know all this stuff they should report it to the LE if they haven't. The NHSP number is at the top of Renners home page I think. If they know there were prints going into the woods where did the prints go? They must have ended somewhere. If they know Maura is dead then they must know where the body is or how would they know she is dead. Common sense says that they are full of bull doodoo.

About the post On renner's site about the footprints. I read that as the person just has no idea what they're talking about. They say a dog followed her scent 100yds I to the woods before they lost it. The dogs followed her scent up the rd 100yds. They r clearly confused as to where the dog was following her scent. I'd put $ down that her remains won't b found in the woods, at least not that area. Listen to scarinza and read the interview rennet did with him. He sounds very confident that she left in a vehicl, he doesn't go straight out and say that but u can tell by what he says thats what he believes. Remember that he personally flew in the helicopter and looked thru the flir. He described being able to see footprints and other small objects. He was able to do the whole road in the helicopter and be confident she was not in the woods, in that area at least. While it may be possible it's highly unlikely IMO, a girl going Into the woods in the dark is going to leave some serious tracks. You can see footprints in the snow on flir, he saw nothing to that effect. -jenkins

Wowzer the real one wrote: <quoted text> I heard the scanner call for her car off the road. It was no big deal and normally I wouldn't have paid attention but this was very near to me so it caught my interest.I've mentioned it before but I guess no one paid attention or missed it. I did not hear any other call for this area or any other call for a car off the road. Many times I confronted Anne with the fact that she seemed to be the only one in the North Country that heard it. Also if there was such a call it would at least been on the dispatch report.JMHO wowzer, I find it interesting for you to mention this at this late time. As I have said before someone(s) were looking for her that evening. Were you listening to the scanner because the accident was in your sight? Or maybe you just happened to have it on? Just asking.

Bumping for Maura wrote: Citigirl has provided us with the first real piece of news here for a very long time. Apparently someone was seen walking west on Rte 112 towards Rte 302 on the night of Mauraīs crash at the WB curve. Now, witness RO encountered the "mysterious" red pickup truck checking her out on Rte 112 in Swiftwater village (while she was walking from her home on Bunga Road to the village store on 112). When RO was returning home from the store NHSP trooper JKM stopped his vehicle (unconfirmed whether his private vehicle or his police cruiser) and briefly spoke with RO, saying according to RO "Oh, itīs you". Their encounter must have been on Rte 112 between the Swiftwater store and the Bunga Road intersection. Clearly, trooper JKM was looking for someone on foot, presumably Maura. So, Citigirlīs new information about a witness having seen a person walking west on Rte 112 towards US 302 (unknown where along 112) is very interesting in this particular context, as is the observation of someone that night walking near the "Eddies" of the Wild A-suc river, presumably by the covered bridge in Swiftwater village. Perhaps Maura ran/walked west instead of east? But, then how come the tracking dogs lost her scent at the 112/Bradley Hill Rd intersection? Still doesnīt make any sense, unless Mauraīs new gloves were not giving off enough of her scent to assist the tracking dogs in their quest. I gave this info to PIs many years back knowing that anything they had learned would be passed to LE. I also posted this info on this forum some time back. Could it be Maura maybe maybe not I dont know.

hi all, what other option did Lt,Scarinza have but to say he saw nothing after his helicopter ride. That was and is his only option.citigirl was trooper jkm at the saturn before sgtSmith and how did jkm know R.O. prior to feb 09.Still wondering which memebers of the police department was driving which vehicle that night toward BH Road.I think Maura kept her Hanson friends and her UMASS friends very much apart and LE or the FBI soon realized that they knew a lot more about Mauras life than the 2 groups did and they left it at that.take care philip

Wowzer the real one wrote: <quoted text> This informtion is confusing. A BOL was issued that night for the responding units but there was no mention of those responding units seeing anyone walking. Why would two people responding to the scene not say anything about seeing someone walking. Doesn't make sense. A BOL was issued to fire units and not to LE in surrounding towns. The BOL was west and not to the east.If you look at the Grafton Sherrifs log for that night you will see it.I do not know what responders did and did not say to LE on that night. I personally spoke with responders several months after Maura disappeared and this is how I learned this info out.
