Just me--paris wrote: The rag: it was clean, minus the gook that was on the outside part of it. When rolled open, it was apparent it was more or less still white and likely never used. It was white until twisted/shoved into the tailpipe. This is bull crap. It was never said to be rolled up. You are stating several different things concerning this rag. You say it was clean, you say it had gook on it, then you state it was more or less still white and never used. It was described by a responder at the scene to be a clean rag in the tail pipe. They never said the color or whether or not it was twisted either. Just a clean rag in the tail pipe.

PIs said they would pass everything they had learned concerning this case to LE. I do not know if DNA was ever done or if it had anything to do with Maura.

Hi all,As far as I know MrLavoie was the tow truck driver and told Mr Murray about the rag in the tailpipe.Whether Mr Murray actuaklly saw the rag is unknown. It sounds to me like MrLavoie reported to MrMurray after the rag was found. If Mr Lavoie actually saved the rag to show to MrMurray I don't know or was this a conversation they had at some point. If MrLavoies' garage was still working on the saturn after Maura was declared missing I find that odd.Maybe that it is why it is sitting out in the weather, too many people had touched it.I am guessing the insurance company would have totalled out a 6 yesr old saturn.Has anyone heard the one about a local police officer that would wait for the tipsy ladies outside that bar and then offer them a ride home just to be on the safe side. What a nice person.Take care philip

Hi all,Looking at the saturn contents on MrRenners blog. There is a round clear plastic lid I with a bar code.I called the company a while back with the bar code.they said it was from a makeup mirror maybe with a brush.I am still wondering as Beagle mentioned ,if Maura was injured over the weekend before she vanished and so ,makeup was used, leaving late when it was darker out ,no public viewing of atm or liquor store video. If the car was on campus for the friday snowstorm someone had to dig it out before monday.Shovel in trunk, borrowed shovel, car undercover some place, someone helped or did it for her, snow melted. take care philip

Being clesn doesn't make any sense if it was really in the tailpipe. RE: the carpet samples, if they are evidence, it makes sense that nothing has been released about them--similar to other evidence. It doesn't follow though, if PI's took half and LE was given half. What were the results of the PI's sample or was it just tested for blood and then handed over? If so, the testing could've been done right at the A Frame and other areas of the house should've been test. Even areas that have been cleaned will show positive if the right chemical agent is used (luminol?)

The PIs were friendly with everyone. oh I didn't mean it like that. One of these PI's were her buddy and when I say she walked along side, I mean they talked and shared alot of what I've come to see as true over the years. No big deal. I saw pictures of the inside of that A frame. She either took them herself or took them from someone, somehow. Enough.
