I love these posters that make rude, personal comments that derail the conversation and then complain about the conversation not going anywhere.
Maybe if some people would just stopaking personal attacks the conversation could get somewhere.
I find it interesting that I was talking all last week about Fred and no one had any problem with it.
Last nite I make a post pointing out the blaring inconsistencies in the sbd statements and his strange actions that night and Instantly there's people breaking out personal attacks.
Funny part about that tho is if these guys think that there gonn stop the conversation like that they couldn't be more wrong, quite the opposite actually.
The fact that these guys get so worked up about posts like that make me think that I'm actually onto something,
The more and more I re-read about the sbd actions/statements the more convinced I am that he saw something that night.
Clearly it was something really bad because he took it to his grave, clearly he felt like his family would have been in danger if he told the truth.

I always found it odd that he said he went driving around looking for her, wasn't she supposedly scared of him? Right? Isn't that what he said? If that was true then why the hell would he go out looking for her?? She's too scared when he comes along in his bus but now she's gonna get in his private vehicle when je comes looking for her? Wouldn't she be WAY more scared of him if now he's looking for her in his private car?

There's just so many things about the sbd's statements that don't make sense unless he really did know what happened but was too scared to say it.
If he saw someone abduct Maura, and they saw him I could see him being scared to talk

While there is no direct evidence that a crime took place that I know of, it's pretty obvious that LE thought it did.
LE says that by the third day major crimes was involved in the investigation. Well major crimes investigates murders, not runaways.
Just the fact that major crimes was involved shows that LE clearly thinks a murder took place.
Also if you read the court case from Fred suing for the records you can clearly read the AG talk about suspects. Suspects would imply that a crime took place.
Now the case is being handled by the cold case unit. The ccu only investigates murder and/or abductions.
So clearly I'm not the only one who thinks a crime took place, LE is certainly on agreement with me on that much

Yeah, but didn't it take two weeks for them to go back and get all Maura's stuff from the family? They thought it was a crime in three days and it took them two weeks to go back and re-collect all that evidence? Mmm... I don't think so. NO ONE is more inconsistent than LE in this case.

How long was the car unattended at the location it was found after Smith showed up at 7:46.?
WHY did He leave the car unattended at the scene with NO WARNING to other drivers on the road that night.?
WHY after EMS and FD showed up did Smith and Monaghan show back up at the scene.?
Where had they both gone or did they meet up, how did they arrive back at the scene at the same time.?

Maybe they went and argued in the back yard where those footprints were found.

JWB - you are a male, father of a 20 year old, so you are probably far too young to be retired. YOU ARE ALWAYS HERE. So you are clearly unemployed. Sad. Actually tragic that you have nothing better to do with your time than be on this mind numbing forum all day and all night. There are some pages where every other post is by you. You are here 24/7. I mean seriously, this is very, very sad. Have you ever considered getting a life? in the real, non-virtual world? This is a terrible example you are setting for your 20 yr. old.

Is that really necessary?

I can't believe this place.

So many personal attacks and misunderstandings of who is who. JMHO but maybe if everyone could get beyond their personal beefs with each other, or just learn to ignore the people who bug them, then we could all get back to the reason we are here in the first place. Aren't we all here to try to find out what happened to Maura, exchange theories etc?

Serious inconsistencies be LE. Herein lies the problem. I feel like they knew a serious crime had been committed and they had absolutely no idea who the perp was. I think at first the knew there was a crime took place. They were at that scene for aomg time, they didn't clear the scene until around 9:30, maybe a kittle later. That seems like a really long time if they didn't think something strange happened. What took so long? If they just thought it was a drunk who left her car bc they crashed all they had to do was a quick search to make sure the person wasn't injured nearby and get the car towed right? 2 hours is a reall long time to be there If u think about it.
I think at some point overnight, or maybe someone higher up in LE looked at this and decided to play it down and make it look like they thought it was just some drunk who crashed their car into a snowbank. Remember the fact that smith told the family when they arrived that they thought it was Fred who was driving the car and that he prob went snowmobiling or something.
They actually learned from a neighbor that the cops were searching for Maura that night.
So thats one, definite documented lie by LE that shows that they definitely were trying to pretend that they didn't know a crime was committed.
If they admit they know a crime was committed then they r also admitting that they can't catch the guy &/or prove it in court. It looks like they actually have a suspect but need to find the body so they can habe physics evidence. Until they find her they will never actualt admit a crime took place and there's a killer on the loose in Nh and they can't catch him.
Sadly, them giving back her belongings was them covering there asses to make it look like they really thought it was just a simple missing person case.

Very good point about them both going in the same direction. You would think that they would each go one way down 112 for a few miles until there at a distance a person could walk in that time. I find the whole scene odd, particularly that the sbd would even bother since Maura was scared of him. I just don't get it, the actions of LE just don't make sense unless they thought a crime was committed.
Even the spilt wine suggests evidence of a struggle IMO. Its been described as being like all over the car, specifically on the ceiling and the roof. Theoretically if the wine splashed during the crash it should have only splashed in one spot, the ceiling or the door, not both spots. Logic would dictate that the wine would splash I. The direction of the crash, how did it splash I. Two completely different places? Also it would appear that the wine was being drank out of a coke bottle. Coke bottles arent that easy to splash out of, sure some will splash if there's a crash but it appears as if the Cole bottle was being whipped around the car like there was a fight in the car.
Her car also is pretty torn up in there, she might just keep a messy car but it's also possible when re cops showed up it appeared some sort if struggle took place.
I'm not saying that this def happened but it is very possible knowing what we know.
The cops clearly know something bad happened that night, the question is to what extent do they know

I find it very interesting that LE pulled over 3 red trucks late night that night.
It looks like they were very interested in red trucks.
Something else that shows they clearly knew more than they r saying way earlier than they've said

I didn't. Definitely not, no way in hell.
First of all just look at it, Doesn't look anything like a car that hit a snowbank.
Anyone who's lived in Nh for more than a couple years has seen their share of cars hit snowbanks, & that doesn't even look close.
I guess tha dowsnt prove anything but here's why we can reasonably know a snowbank by itself didnt cause that dent.
Look at the bumper, there is barely any danger to it.
Now look below the bumper, there is damage down there that is consistent w hitting a snowbank.
A snowbank can't damage below the bumper and above the bumper but not the bumper, that's impossible.
Look at that sharp dent, that wasn't caused by a snowbank, it wasn't caused by a tree. Whatever caused it was higher than the saturn bc the dent goes down, it actually pushed the hood down over the headlight. There is no way in hell a snowbank did that. There is no way a tree did that.
So what made that dent?
