The difference for the clueless and witless is explaining why it's as stupid a post as we say. Just like I did with this post.
Even the obvious needs to be explained to some.

"Stupid witless stupid morons are just stupid and clueless. Clueless stupid people are just stupid." Blah blah blah.

Most people who always feel the need to spout off constantly about how "stupid" and "clueless" everyone is.... are just trying to make up for their own sad little insecurities. Pretty pathetic, as usual. And once again not conducive in any way as to why the hell you would frequent here so much.

Of course you wont find a link it was a private conversation with a family member.

That information is eight years old. The FBI made their appearance within those first weeks and then were considered not to be needed.

We've now established that the statements you and others have made and repeated specific to the FBI are not documented.
Further, I can conclude these undocumented statements may have been a subjective interpretation of an informal conversation between two or more unidentified individuals.

Difference is, I explained why I believe him to be witless and clueless. The question really is, are you any smarter or more clued in? Somehow, I doubt it but it's early. You may still redeem yourself. Time will tell.

So it's really just hearsay. A family member said so so it must be true. Is there any truth at all in this forum or is everything just a dam8 lie?

LOL, not sure where he gets his information? HE MAKES IT UP!
Hahhahaha, Seriously? Absolutely nothing he says has any basis in fact, he makes shit up and just spews it out. Haven't you read his posts? Looong, rambling, erratic rants where he mentions everything that has been on the news for the last 8 years, Maura, Brianna, Kenney, Floyd, McKay, everything and anything he can think of goes into his manifesto, all tied together in some loony cartoon.
It makes me laugh, really it does.
Really?? I was making it up huh? The reason I posted that was bc I had just read it in an article.

This is where I got the info about LE takin the Saturn as evdnce about 2 weeks after the joint press conference; the Hanson express articles.
Here's the quotes:

"Exactly one month later, on June 8, 2005, Vermont and New Hampshire State Police issued a joint press release stating there was no connection between the Maura Murray and Brianna Maitland cases"
Two weeks later, a N.H. State Police Trooper turned up on the doorstep of Maura's sister Kathleen's home in Hanover, Mass. The trooper requested that all items found in Maura's car be returned. Maura's belongings had been given to the Murray family within two weeks of the accident. Police also confiscated the hard drive of Maura's computer, which had been in her dorm room and took custody of Maura's car, which had been sitting unlocked at a North Haverhill, N.H. garage since the accident. Police explained that a major crimes unit of the State Police was stepping into the case and wanted to conduct forensic tests of Maura's car and personal belongings. "

There, it clearly states that they took possession of the car 2 wks afrer the press conference.
Obviously we can't be sure meeting with the FBI prompted this move, but that's why I was askin that as a question. I never said it was because of the meeting the took it, I said that it sure seems like it, because it does. The FBI were probably mortified to learn that they had never even took the car as evidence, but that is clearly my opinion.

Obviously I'm not, or have I EVER, just making anything up, moron.

I don't read this disappearance exclusively, but I pass through to skim comments. With Topix, Websleuths and the Blogspot website by James Renner and his soon to be book, this disappearance receives a great deal more publicity than other missing persons or abductions. What's equally perplexing as the mystery of the disappearance of Miss Murray is the constant heated debate online, as if it's bordering obsession for commenters across the Web, a near decade later. With no more answers than originally known, it's good people still care but what is the motivation to fight over these unknowns? Do any of you think it will be solved?

From that article:
'Heather hopes the FBI will be allowed to step in,“I’ve spoken to agents in Boston and Quantico and they’ve been willing to help since the start to be part of it but when it comes to the behavior analysis unit of the FBI they HAVE TO BE INVITED by the DA and the State Police. The family can’t request their presence.”'

If the Federal Government is barely keeping the NHCCU alive with meager grants, why not invite the FBI into reinvestigate Maura's case? Save some money, re-examine the files, maybe get some results. Sounds like a potential win-win when all it takes is an invitation.

I originally stated back on this site nine or so years ago. A girl from an area that I have been in disappeared. The hows and whys were a mystery. What has kept me here is the lack of common sense and the magical powers that some here claim to possess. There were some logical thinkers here, years ago. Others that had an inkling about how someone would investigate a mystery. Most of them are gone. When someone does go through this case logically and examines all the few known facts. Any reasonably knowledgeable person realizes that there is not enough evidence to actually find Maura. Because of that, there are people that make stuff up. With what is known in this case, she could be in the woods, she could be anywhere in the world. She could be dead or she could be alive. That narrow it down for you? Without more evidence most of what you see here is entertainment. Mostly fantasy by a few who seem to think that their “investigation” will lead to something. Usually all they manage to do is besmirch the good name of local people with their nonsensical speculation. Because, it is all fun and games for them. Personally, I come for the chuckles and there are plenty of those. Right now a couple of nit-wits are trying to tie Floyd or McKay to the disappearance. They are traveling new ground. No one in the past has been stupid enough to suggest that either one of them has had anything to do with her disappearance. Of course that is probably because of how absurd it is. Nothing suggest that they were even in the area. Odd that there is no talk of Liko?

To answer your question, I just point out the more stupid comments particularly when they implicate people that have not been shown to have had anything to do with Maura. And this may be solved when more evidence comes in. Not by the goofballs here or the brain trust at websmurfs, but by the police. So sit back, gather round and have a good chuckle because there is nothing important going on here. You should have been here when the UFO and Bigfoot theories were swirling around. Those were heady days. Oh, and you can’t forget the car damage being caused by a trailer hitch and the Maura lookalike theories. You should have heard those. Still makes me laugh.

The funniest parts is were some of these people get all indignant like this is a real investigation. They come out with “how dare you, this is about a missing girl”. No its not. Its about a group of chair bound people who can’t think straight trying to fill some need in their lives. If they really wanted to help people they would learn CPR or become an EMT or join the fire department. That actually helps people. This is mental masturbation that at the end of the day provides nothing, except some very abused electrons.

At the end of the day the same tired crap has actually been repeated, over and over and over. Because, there is nothing new in this case in eight years. But these same cardboard cutout people keep grinding over the same “five pieces” of solid evidence and they think that the hundreds of people before them weren’t smart enough to figure it out, or the cops. For those of us that have been here for eight years, it’s the same cycle, over and over. Just another windmill, going in circles, like the dozens before. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh….

Great entertainment though.

Feel the breeze.

Bill

Can you produce any current links specific to documentation supporting updated requests for FBI intervention in Maura's case? And NH's refusal to "invite"?

"Earlier that same Wednesday morning, Fred tipped off the media that he was headed to the N.H. State House in Concord in hopes of meeting newly-elected Governor John Lynch. With media at his heels, Fred did meet with Lynch for about 10 minutes.

This was his latest plea for FBI help in the case. Since Maura was still considered a missing person, the FBI could only join the investigation if invited by New Hampshire State Police."

Father Of Mass. Woman Who Disappeared Meets Governor
WHDH 2/9/05
CONCORD, N.H.-- The father of a Massachusetts woman who disappeared a year ago met with
Gov. John Lynch on Wednesday to ask for his help in getting records of the investigation.
Fred Murray, whose daughter Maura vanished after a minor car accident in Haverhill, wants state
police to release their records so he can pursue leads himself.
"I asked, failing that, to have it declared a criminal investigation rather than a missing person
investigation, and, if he didn't want to do that, I asked him to accept the offer of the FBI to come in,"
Murray said after the meeting with Lynch.
Lynch made no commitments on the specific requests.

my responses to Bill are between **

>>When someone does go through this case logically and examines all the few known facts. Any reasonably knowledgeable person realizes that there is not enough evidence to actually find Maura.

**Historically, most of the commentary has originated from hearsay; therefore, there is an inability and an unwillingness to create and commit to an agreed upon and documented resource of factual information as a starting place.
Currently, a new level of reaching toward factual misrepresentation has been achieved. Consensus will forever be impossible.**

>>Without more evidence most of what you see here is entertainment. Mostly fantasy by a few who seem to think that their “investigation” will lead to something. Usually all they manage to do is besmirch the good name of local people with their nonsensical speculation.

**We are sinners for defaulting to "entertainment" as a way to cope with the circular repetition of "nonsensical speculation" after pointing out its futility a gazillion times.**

>>Right now a couple of nit-wits are trying to tie Floyd or McKay to the disappearance. They are traveling new ground. No one in the past has been stupid enough to suggest that either one of them has had anything to do with her disappearance.

**Oh, please, don't give credit where it is not due. Floyd's son was previously offered up as a perp in on this forum/these threads. The newest crop of theorists are, once again, reworking old territory.**
Bill, I'm glad to see you've twice admitted in recent days that policing for accuracy is an impossible task. With an investment of plus or minus 8 years, there is no option but to await a significant and official development and/or outcome while folks tread water.
The exception to settling in with the "entertainment" factor, and relaxing standards for having to police for factual inaccuracies, however, are instances where innocents are accused by online, arm chair sub-sleuthers. Gossip and rumor sometimes demands comment.**

>>For those of us that have been here for eight years, it’s the same cycle, over and over. Just another windmill, going in circles, like the dozens before.

**Wash, rinse, repeat.**
